@@maxforden-zd7xj Exactly two weeks ago.. Ask the hut warden at Trient hut. He can tell you the current conditions. Have fun :-)

Vielen Dank für diese imposanten und aufwendigen Aufnahmen! Das Frieren der Freunde hat sich definitiv gelohnt. Ich war zu meiner Schulzeit einige Male auf und an verschiedenen Gletschern der Schweiz, damals konnte ich die Wochenenden in den Bergen leider noch nicht genügend wertschätzen. Nach 10 Jahren würde ich die Orte wahrscheinlich nicht wiedererkennen. Ich werde mir unbedingt die Zeit nehmen müssen, wiedermal eine Tour zu machen. Solange das noch möglich ist. Sehr angenehm erklärt und vor allem simple aber effektive Visualisierungen. Einzig bei dem Voiceover war die Musik manchmal ein wenig zu sehr im Vordergrund und man hatte Mühe alles zu verstehen. Die Worte am Ende fand ich sehr passend. Keine Panikmache oder Moralisieren und einfach ausgesprochen, was gesagt werden muss.

Und ja, ich muss gestehen, das mit den Voiceovers ist echt tricky, besonders wenn man es in Teilprojekten editiert und nachher zusammenfügt. Da bin ich auch noch nicht ganz zufrieden 😁 - habe mir fürs nächste Projekt tatsächlich vorgenommen mich hier etwas Schlau zu machen.. 😊 Liebe Grüsse

Hey! :) Nice video. How long did it sake you from St Niklaus > Barrhorn summit? (assuming you went on to the barrhorn!). Thanks :)

Well, actually two days :-) We climbed up from the other side from the "Turtmannhütte". If you come from the St. Niklaus side, you first ascend to the "Topalihütte" and from there continue to "Schöllijoch" and "Barrhorn". If you are not a crazy trailrunner, I recommend to do it in two days and sleep in the "Topalihütte". Remember, Swiss glaciers lose quite some ice recently. The video is 5 years old, so the situation looks completely different now 🙂 But the hutwardens on both sides will tell you what conditions you have to consider. If you just want to go to the "Barrhorn", the ascent from the west over the "Turtmannhütte" is much easier and much more unproblematic in terms of rockfall.
