Lots of fuss around it but nothing about soleus & gastrocnemius muscle? One proper Sports Massage is all it needs.

Regarding that, I would consider hot shower or foot bath (epsom salts) followed by bare foot standing, shifting weight front and back. You might feel your heels sink down and relax achille tendons this way.

trapped nerve in neck and shoulder creates a carpel tunnel like problem that will only go away with relase of the nerve in scapula area and neck , do full arm stretches and rotation of arm from shoulder . get chiropractic help if you can afford it

I just did a stretch lying down on my back: left knee to right side. I suddenly felt lots of pain at the bottom X. That part of the muscle was very tender to the touch for several minutes. Am I possibly failing to stretch or warm up properly?

My right knee buckles with no pain, no accidents, it started 8 years ago, doctors cant find what it is, the last test was the nerve test and doctor claims is not the nerves. All this time, I still think is my sciatica. 😢

I fell to my knees many times from this pain, it comes on with no warning. Always trigger when kneeling on my right knee with both arms extended to reach for something like under a sink or in the wheel well of a car or low in a refrigerator. Nothing in my hands yet just reaching down and out and twisting. It stops you in your tracks!

Do you know if there is a definitive cause of shin splints? Last time I checked, there was still a lot of debate about whether it is caused by the syndesmosis between the tibia and fibula, the fascia, or even bone axial bruising.

Yeah, usually on the left because that's the side where back side of the pelvis (posterior outlet) typically gets compressed because that side is usually perpetually stuck in swing phase. Stretching it won't really do anything most of the time, Good luck getting any change to stick with a stretch, and could just piss it off. You need to learn how to shift back into that left hip with a left heel, left hamstring, Left ischiocondylar adductor, and contralateral right inferior glute max to push you over to that side so you know how to get into it.

Thank you for your video and also all of the constructive comments. I have been suffering from this terribly for 2 months now. In addition to having been diagnosed with Polymyalgia Rheumatica and being on prednisone for that, this additional pain has made life almost unbearable. I am a land Surveyor and need to walk for a living. Thank you again for the comments as I will try some of these suggestions provided.

There are workouts and stretches you can do for the inflamed piriformis. I've done physical therapy twice for my back and it wasn't until I took matters into my own hands and did research that my pain got better. Check out a couple of KZfaq stretches they worked wonders for me. Also you should probably strengthen your psoas and and ql muscles I take 40 minutes out of my morning for PT and it's been effective. Hope this helps someone Ive been in agony for 2 years and my life changed for the better after applying a couple of exercises to my life.

Thanks for this video. I have had ear popping and pain on one side. Been to GP, been to ent and i'm convinced now it is this. If i press a point on my neck which looks very like location of a trigger point in your video, my ear pops. I even said this to the ent but they just looked at me like i was crazy. I have bad posture but also a few lower teeth removed on that side which has made things worse. There is a bite component to it but the scm muscle feels so tight and uncomfortable i think it's causing the ear issues. Thank you

We’re glad you found the video helpful! It’s frustrating when you don’t get the answers you need. It sounds like you're onto something with the SCM muscle. Keep exploring those trigger points, and hopefully, you'll find relief soon. 😊
