I love mouse guns the design and workmanship that go into them is awesome. The videos you do are great too thank you

Great videos. I would love to see a basic takedown on many of these. Would add a little content to your videos and I think it’s interesting that many of these little guns are basic striker fired systems but some had creative ways of squeezing in hammer for a single or even double action.

When are you going to do a review of all your mouse guns I just want to see how many you have and enjoy the beauty of all of them and are you going to put any of the American made and I'm talking about the ring of fire ones

Interesting grips. The HS logo looks like a dollar sign. Gives the pistol a sort of modern gangster appearance.

@@mousegunguy2537 I absolutely understand and get it. I love the commercial tiny revolvers interesting because it's like a view back in time when it was understood that you might need something to protect yourself in hard times in Europe.

Fabulous! My Ortgies pistol is a 32 ACP. I would rather have the 25. My pistol comes with a wonderfully creepy history! So does my 1918 Colt M1911 pistol!
@mousegunguy253721 сағат бұрын
I used to have a .32 Ortgies, but I sold it. It was larger than the .25 and wasn't really a pocket pistol. I figured that I needed to limit my collection to smaller pistols. It was a fine pistol though.

You have a wonderful collection of tiny guns! Do you carry/shoot any of them or are they mostly for the joy of collecting?
@mousegunguy25372 күн бұрын
I am mostly interested in just learning their history, how they work, and how they might relate to other firearms. After I made this video I found a CZ 45 guide rod online, so hopefully I can get it back in working order. I buy guns online, and they are often missing parts or have parts that are damaged or broken so I don't usually even try to shoot them, especially the really old ones.

@@mousegunguy2537 It's all right. You have neat videos, unlike some people who delay the time of the show too much or turn the weapon in their hands too quickly so that they cannot see the weapon well.

Always remember, prior to the invention of antibiotics even a stick from a pen knife could be lethal. .22 short wasn't a "manstopper" but dying of sepsis was a alow and painful ending. Nobody wanted to get shot with anything.

As I recall these were made who people who got chased by dogs when riding a bicycle. Maybe they were just supposed to scare them away?😆

I'm familiar with this odd but elegant pistol. This gun was made in .22 Long because the frame is just a tad too short for .22 Long Rifle. Its unique in that its one of the only pistols made specifically in this caliber. Most .22 Long handguns are small revolvers like the Smith & Wesson #1 1/2 which are only safe with the .22 CB Long subsonic cartridges. The CB loads are too mild to work the slide correctly. The CCI .22 Long supersonic that is NOT marked CB is the only factory ammunition left that will work reliably in this pistol.

All the 950 frames are the same. I removed the front pivot pin and replaced it with a threaded pin. This way by switching the barrel, slide and magazine i can switch between.25 ACP, 22 short and even 22 long rifle. I make my own recoil springs with music wire. Love your videos!

Damn, Looks great. One of my favorite gun models ever. I really, really wish they were still in production. Pocket guns are making a huge comeback now. Was praying for the Sarsilmaz P6 to come out, but I don't think they ever did. Pretty sure they were discontinued before any were sold. They have the curved shaped grips on them too. They look identical except for the logo.

The FEG trademark translated into English means Federal Electric and Gas. They were a large scale manufacturer of electric and gas appliances. Many of their products were sold under different house names around the world including Sears and Roebuck. The lower price point was a result of post WW1 European economic recession, the dissolution of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the lower cost of skilled labor. Many people bought and owned their products unaware they were made in Hungary. They were recruited into the small arms industry and were quite successful at that as well. Thanks for the great videos.

The Wilkinsons Arms company still exists and still makes 9MM carbine pistols
@mousegunguy253718 күн бұрын
They do have a web site and sell parts for all of the guns they made. I know that the 9mm carbines are shown there with prices; however, they are both "out of stock." As far as I know they are not still being made. Thanks for the comment! I don't claim to be an expert. I'm just a student who is always looking to learn about these little pistols.
