Daaaaaaaang. So sorry hun. At least it was tempered glass...safer. I did that to our front window about 30 years ago. It wasnt tempered and the glass went everywhere. My mother wished she'd chosen the wood chips instead of the lava rocks that day. 😂🤣

I like the way you use a non lethal method of to protect your animals and birds. I live in in Tasmania, Australia, smallest most southern state. We have no foxes nor bears. We have some predatory smaller mammals, eagles, ospreys and so on. I have rescued chickens and the rain is a worry at the moment as it makes the ground so muddy. Wind chimes are great deterrents. How very sad for the bears, having no food. I understand how you do not want to feed the bears.

I live in bear country and have encountered many a bear where i live. They get into everything. They watch me all the time and keep me company 30 or so feet away while i weed or whatever. I have heard tell of nail boards but have never used them and wondered how well they worked . Especially interested in keeping them out of the chicken feed bin.

We Alaskans know all about bear boards. Great deterrent! 🧡

We have a couple of cameras on our property. Watching the deer, raccoons, armadillos, birds and even a wild hog so far. (Haven’t seen beaver yet, but have been knocking out a dam they keep rebuilding so I know they are there) We have black bears in the area too. But we know what we will need to protect our future animals and gardens from. I’ve heard reports of big cats nearby, but not seen any yet. I’ve never heard of bear boards, but thank you for the information! It may be a deterrent we can use.

You are doing what you need to do to protect your animals, the boards are merely a deterrent. There are always people that will make negative comments not much you can do about that. I love your channel very much. God bless you and yours ❤
