Saw this in China. It didn’t have English subtitles unlike many Chinese theatrical releases but I understood 90% of it. What a great film! I laughed, cried and smiled. It’s a sweet film about how we as parents will do everything we can for our children to climb the highest mountains and go farther than the imagination can take us, but at the cost of creating a “Truman Show” like world. Highly recommended!

hk movie industry is really dead - always the same OLD FACE. this Andy or that Jackie & even the standing posters in the movie is also the same old faces from the past. going to skip this movie as well like skip so many recent hk movie eg goldfinger coz even tony leung can't entice me to part my money for a ticket to watch it. same old story or plot or worse is same old faces over & over again. don't hk have other actors other than the " golden generation"

Ms. Zhou Dongyu is a beautiful, talented, and gifted actress and artist. “Under the Light” was a crime thriller about exposing corruption. The film was delayed for two years. This film appears to have been reworked, with a lot of the scenes being rushed, short, and cut. There are flashbacks, and with so many different things going on, it becomes muddled. The bottom line was to expose the corruption. Given the script these actresses and actors had to work from, the entire cast did an excellent job in their performances. Ms. Zhou Dongyu’s portrayal in her role was gusty, realistic, and, in the end heroic. We will always follow, support, and pray for “you.” 👏💫😷⭐️🌟😊😉💛👏

Finally a brilliant plot twist movie. Not a fan chinese movie.. but this one is a masterpiece. I enjoy it to watch it from the beginning until the end..You will shock how this movie excecute for the ending so briliant. I was crying so much for this movie. 1000000/10 !!!
