Inart really do themselves no favours when it comes to their messaging and the clarity of their communications. For instance, back in March on their official FB page, Inart used words such as "shipped", "shipping", "released", "by the end of March". Now when most people hear or read those words it gives them the impression that their order will be with them shortly, as it is does when videogames, blu-rays are released and when new films begin airing at the cinema. So customers - in particular those who pre-ordered early - were given the impression that they'd be receiving their orders in late March/early April. But this was never the case. The "influencers", a pitiful handful of them at that, started to get their figure roughly 3 weeks after Inart made their "shipping" FB post. It was well into April and not in March like they said. Weeks passed, and then months. Inart Batman became legend. Legend became myth (sorry, couldn't be helped). After THREE months, customers finally began to receive their orders. Though most, if not all, of those were the rooted editions. The sculpted versions, the figures that are supposedly a lot faster to produce were nowhere to be seen. We are now heading towards August, some four months after the figure was "shipped", "released".... And how many customers have their figure: a lousy 10%!! Again, where is the communication? Inart tell us to contact the retailers for more information, yet when we contact respectable sellers such as OSK, we're told that only Inart knows the answer to our question?? They knowingly make us waste our time, chasing our tails like a dog. To call this service amateur hour would be too kind. When will the second batch be released? How large will it be? If it's only going to done in increments of 10%, does that mean that the final 10%, the 90-100% of customers will not get their Batman figures for approx 6-8 months??

Influencer batch isn't a problem (it gives me a chance to cancel if the figure is poor) It's the wait time between each figure that drivers me crazy. Very cool video by the way. You've captured the true beauty of the figure.

The Influencer batch isn't just to market the figure, as you said it puts the brand name out there. It makes people look at what else they make and draws more eyes to their next figures.

@@c4v3m4n27 I mean…sure, I have considered that. However it’s still misguided IMO. Did the “2 month advanced influencer batch review” influence anyone to preorder Harry Potter, Ron and Hermoine? This influencer batch would make sense if the next figure down the pipeline/reveal was another figure from any of the Batman universe’s…but it was either HP, Dune, and maybe LoTR. So it still doesn’t make sense to me, know what I mean?

@@BrooklynWolfTheCollector The Joker one's made me interested in The Batman, and Aragorn, and Superman, and Paul. And now that The Batman is out ,I'm certainly looking forward to their BVS Batman. Everyone gets in at different times and maybe once influencers get Harry or Michel Jackson, Batman or Wonder Woman might be up for pre order. Is it a perfect system? No, but I see a lot of people just dismissing it because either a) they aren't in the fist batch or b) they think it's useless because you can't pre-order the figure during the influencer batch. I just think that misses the point.

@@c4v3m4n27 well sure. Because of the Joker (due to the timeline, we should be talking about TDK Joker) I’m assuming you’ve been following IA since day one. Justin’s preview of the proto I’m sure encouraged you to click the preorder button on an unproven company during that time. And it paid off. Because now you’re interested in all things IA. But there are those collectors that only stick to one IP or variations of their fav character, and in this case: Batman. As I said before, following the I.B reviews were the reveals for the HP trio. Unsurprisingly PO numbers were low. HP and The Batman are not even in the same wheelhouse. Again, had the next reveal been Catwoman or TDK Batman, I can see an argument for the I.B. being necessary. But that wasn’t the case. All the I.B. did was make collectors like myself that have PO’d EVERY IA figure (save for Pennywise, a decision I still regret) feel like 2nd rate customers. Even you admitted it’s not perfect. It’s not about ‘’dismissing it” or “aren’t in the 1st batch” etc etc. it’s about feeling slighted by this I.B. strategy because devoted IA fans, that have their fav online vendor page loaded up HOURS in advance with the alarm clock set to alert them the moment PO’s go live, want to feel like they’re valued. Consider this: Had the I.B. reviews dropped the same time as mine…would that have made a HUGE difference in IA’s current marketing strategy? IMO, no. But would a super early hands on preview of a prototype video help? Well, it worked for you and me. So…I’d say, yes.

HT blogger pics tend to swiftly be followed by general release. InArt sent this to influencers several months ago and many stores still don’t have their stock due to the slow rollout of small small batches at a time. HT having global distribution rights and Sideshow on their side certainly helps them to release a figure to multiple markets at a time. Since IA are typically bound to selling in mainland China, everyone else must wait in line.

I will admit, now that I have Mando Luke, I am a bit more forgiving of the old one. it was rough when that old one was the only option, especially when HT kept recycling it as if it was a portrait sculpted by the gods and not knowing when a true update or 2.0 is coming.

It's always great to see another new "Brooklyn Wolf - The Collector" video appear in notifications as you know you're in for an honest review along with great cinematography. Well done I mean truly outstanding and almost had me shed a tear of nostalgic joy with the background music accompanied by the poses of many iconic characters from the prequels & Rex from Clone Wars 2008. Title I'm not sure if that's a bit of a jab at a certain show making certain.....waves......we'll say or if it's referring to there's finally a good representation of Hayden in sculpted hair form from Hot Toys but either way, I support lol! I have Clone Wars Anakin myself with Clone Wars Kenobi on preorder (would love to see you do a review of him as well to hear your thoughts, that is if you care to since I know usually if you do a review of a figure its very rare on frequency so if you're doing one that means you recommend it). Hoping ppl are selling the gold arm so I can attach that with Clone Wars Anakin if possible. I didn't play the Artisan game myself upon release. I've joined the waitlist just as a "who knows, you know" and it's mostly because I only see sense in an Artisan Anakin if there's an Artisan Obi Wan to follow (EP2 would be a good opportunity for such since Ewan has the mullet look). But this was truly lovely thank you for doing the shots wherever and whenever and making them still look cinematic no matter the background and actually posing the figure cause it's an action figure lol. You've warmed my heart as Prequel type of kid (98) so catching EP1 (to a degree, then seeing it in high def 3D when they did that rerelease) EP2, 2003 Clone Wars, & EP3 fresh, hearing the music, definitely like Anakin, before his fall & going through a dark period for a large part of his life, having simpler times with Padme being alive & him fighting alongside his best friend/father figure, reminded me of simpler times for myself during that stage of life. Not the same for everyone I'm sure but what was simpler for everyone was the commercial entertainment that was available to us. The landscape has certainly changed & has been very rocky of sorts to where it has caused alot of feuds. So yeah simpler times that I miss in that field alone. Again solid review I"m still here with you subscribed.

😉😉I absolutely was referring to ‘that which is making waves’, and ALSO this Anakin being an awesome representation of the actor lol. More importantly I’m happy you enjoyed the video. It’s been a while because I’ve been raising my -now 7 month baby daughter-. So while ive been collecting figures, I just didn’t have time to do any new videos 🥲. But for Anakin, I just HAD to do it because he is my 2nd fav SW character of all time (Luke being 1st). I love Lucas’ SW as those movies really affected me in deep ways. They helped shape me into who I am today 😊. And I agree with you wholeheartedly: those were MUCH simpler times and I yearn for us to return to those days. So I’m right there with you. This figure activated the nostalgia and I hope I was able to convey that through this video. Thanks again for watching my man! P.s. I passed on the recent Obi Wan because I’m not the biggest fan of the expression HT gave him. I’m hoping they do an EP3 2.0 someday.

Potential padawan collector....... And ah, well, thank you for telling it straight, lol! Yep, only one true Chosen One (I question each & every bit of new info I hear come out about said certain show--mostly just echoing "why?"). Understandable on Clone Wars Kenobi, I couldn't resist the moment I saw the attire he was wearing plus the cape. Definitely agree that they should do updated sculpts of Revenge of the Sith Obi Wan & Anakin sculpted options or update Obi Wan's sculpt via an Episode 2 release, sculpted and Artisan. That would actually give a fully screen accurate armored + cape Obi Wan for those that want to swap out heads since he would have the swept back mullet. Again, happy to wait for new content, keep them coming whenever you can!

Agreed. OG ROTJ head sculpt always annoyed me with that open mouth expression. So much better with the Mando/Bespin 2.0 head sculpt with the ROTJ hair.

@@smlshin exactly! This is supposed to be post RoTJ Luke…meaning if they recycled the headsculpt we see in this video, it would’ve made more sense and looked more like Mark. I mean, I’d be upset if they recycled it AGAIN…but it would look far better than what they’ve shown us now.
