I have inherited the exact machine i may have a few questions i know nothing about this 😅 I got part way through your video. What type of needles do you use in yours

Hi, where can we buy the power cord of this sewing machine, please? The jack in the machine has 4 pins and on the pedal has two pins.

I bought one of these years ago at an Estate sale for around $20. I have been so intimidated by it that it has sat in the closet. Since its summer break I pulled it out and tried to thread it in my own. Disaster! Then I found your video and it made it so easy for me to figure out! Right now I have the tension working perfectly and no longer need to think to thread it. Next challenge - learning how to use it in my sewing projects! Thanks so much, I really appreciate you making this great video.

I’m making a mock up of a skirt pattern that I added a train to and then realized I need to hem the front. It would have been better to measure my pattern and get closer to the right length first but what are mock ups for except to find the issues in a paper pattern 😅🤷🏻♀️

Hello! I have a question, why flip the dress from the inside out from that hole you seam ripped at the arm pit--is this necessary if I can flip the top fabric up and over (picture as if you were wearing the dress and pull the edge of the top layer skirt up up up over you’re head so the top and the lining are now separate) is this the same or no?
@pindropshop27 күн бұрын
If they were separate you definitely could do that. This one was all sewn down at the waist . You'd have to rip that out and then you could flip it that direction.

Do you know what the measurement is from the presser foot (raised) to the bed of the machine? I need a machine with a high presser foot for sewing faux fur. TIA!
@pindropshopАй бұрын
I no longer have this in my possession or I would measure it for you. Sorry! I do not know exactly how high it goes.
@5150beeperАй бұрын
Could explain how to adjust all those tension knobs?
@pindropshopАй бұрын
I would start with how I have them all set up on this video. Then you will need to look at your stitch and compare to how a stitch is supposed to look. Depending on what is wrong with it, there are adjustments to make it right.

@pindropshopАй бұрын
@@meganhall8583 This is actually the only video I've made on this Brother machine. But if you watch the other serger videos on the channel you will probably pick up some things since they all function pretty much the same with minor details being different :) Thanks so much for watching my videos! Just got a 3610. Got all cleaned and oiled. Good stitches. Problem with stitch length. Strait stich only makes one length. No matter having selector on longest setting? Using guitermann thread 40 weight
@pindropshopАй бұрын
It might need service by a technician. There might be clogged up old grease making it so it can't move from one stitch length to the next?
