Always enjoyed that one. Thanks for showing what a great bass line it is. On my list to learn now for sure.
@stevebadachmusicКүн бұрын
It's definitely not a very difficult song to learn, but it works. I vividly remember sleeping over at a friend's place and his older brother had bought this album when it was first released. we all slept in the same room and he insisted on playing it all night while we slept.

Their best album in my opinion. Just when everyone thought it would be more grunge. This changed them. Soon Eddie would be singing doo -wop songs. All great.

i think their bassist plays mostly fretless, but i don't know much about pearl jam. if not, then the fretless added a nice touch to the song 👍🏻

Jeff certainly played a lot of fretless! and thanks. I thought it worked alright.

just a little too much of the clanking noises for my liking. I have to play extra soft to avoid it and I like to be able to have some dynamic range. But I also haven't adjusted this bass since I bought it, so it's probably time.

@stevebadachmusic10 күн бұрын
you definitely don't need that LUA script to make these. Essentially I figure out the BPM of the song, line it up on the grid in Reaper, then cut the track on the quarter note and then just manually swap all the required beats. Even doing it 100% manually only takes a few minutes.
