More proof that EP3 is the undisputed most underrated and overlooked Honda Type R of all time. It’s the “tween” of Honda, transitioning from the eg/ek to the fn/fk platforms. The last hoorah for lightweight n/a high rev Honda sport compacts. It’s the CTR you didn’t know you wanted and could actually find and afford. Iykyk 😉

I really think the EP3s downfall was shifter location. No one was ready or wanted to transition to the new location when the car came out. Otherwise I the car would have been just as popular as the previous gens.

It’s hard to beat the DC2R. It’s the FWD goat by virtue of old school light weight raw tin can driving experience coupled with a high strung NA motor with 195HP. Great steering feel, 2500-2600lb, LSD etc. DC5R lost the great suspension geometry, got heavier and refined and lost the clean and straight looks.

Another great video!!! Loved the cars, @ 3:46, i love the carbon trunk setup just as much as a good carbon hood setup, not as much ppl go with it compared to the hood setup, but its nice to see a good trunk one when somebody does a clean build with it. (Thinking about added it to my fd2 conversion, maybe maybe lol)

I try edit out in post depending on the meet/event. Im using new mics now (DJI mic2) so I wasn't sure how sensitive they were going to be.

the front McPherson suspension is what ruined it for the DC5. If it kept the front double wishbone like the DC2 and even CL7/9. Woooo!!! it be the best. Sadly that's not the case. It's my fav Integra though. Love the looks and the fact that it is an underdog just like the R33 in the GTR family.

Hey mate, I also own a light blue Honda S660. I've owned a lot of sports cars in my day, and honestly, on the Japanese streets, I think my S660 is my first choice. It looks fantastic, handles like a go-kart, and feels like a Porsche inside (granted, I do have upgraded exhaust and suspension). Great car, great channel. 👍

Hey, Thanks for commenting. I really did like the S660 and wish we'd get cars like this in the US. On the touge roads it did great and definitely gave me Initial D vibes while driving.

It's funny cause I reviewed a dc5r in Japan. I'll have to show them more love. I don't dislike them but I do prefer the dc2 better. At least for what I would use it for.
