Typically when the evap has a leak, you will have a funny smell in the air vents. Also, you should be able to put the sniffer near the vent and it will sniff out trace amounts. The evap is the only leak on an AC in which you can smell it.

Can these Android Aftermarket HeadUnits be installed on an Electric Vehicle?. My EV has a 360 Camera and will these HeadUnits be able to reflect that functionality on the screen?.

Why would you need WiFi if you are on a 4 or 5G network running through your Android phone???

You have to use the Wifi if you want to run app on Dasaita. It is essentially a tablet without a cell option

purchased the Dasaita vivid 11 for our 2012 toyota camry hybrid after the factory radio went Kaput ! 1400 bucks for a new toyota radio that was basic am fm cd. wayyyyyy to expensive.. So tried the dasaita.. The install was perfect EXCEPT for the factory camera on the camry was not an RCA type connector and I could not figure out how to connect the camera. So I bought a small camera off Amazon for 30 bucks.. ran the wire through the car and plugged into the Dasaita. Everything worked.. Had to make some settings changes for the camera and screen brightness- blah blah blah-- simple stuff!! So all is working.. All the car doors, all the AC and Fan settings and tire pressures and hybrid stuff all shows up on the screen due to the canbus , even speedometer.... the radio sounds WAY BETTER than the factory one. I have now downloaded my usb MP3s to the dasaita FLASH. so they are now local and no longer needed to keep the USB stick plugged in...... So for 500 bucks vs 1400 bucks we have a beautiful modern touch screen in the car and great sound and a great color camera that tracks the wheels etc etc.... Dont hesitate.... just do it.. apple car play works perfect also

I absolutely agree. But it is not for everyone. You will notice some bugs every now and then. Drives me crazy when I get into the car and need to navigate but the Dasaita decides it wants to take 5 minutes to boot up

Hey i have one of these and it came with my car and im trying to figure out how to make it to have sound again? I bought the car in September and the display and audio worked perfectly fine and great till today after i put gas in my car at Costco. Now it plays zero sound not when i click something not when i play music literally no sound what so ever and i cannot find anyone with this exact headunit with this issue.

Chances are it may not be the unit. Some are wiried to use a factory amp. I would do a hard reset regardless

Also, auto connecting to Wi-Fi, if you are on an iPhone, that's the issue. What you would do is create an Apple Shortcut to automatically turn on your hotspot feature when the bluetooth to the car is connected. Worked like a charm.

Actually phone call quality is WAY WAY better if you disconnect the microphone, and just use the built in mic!

Absolutely, you have to reset the entire unit. For me, as long as I didnt use wifi and apps on Dasaita, it continued to work. This is a known issue and they cant fix it.

Absolutely. Here is what I foiund. If you do a hard reset and only use wireless carplay, mine works fine. As soon as I alternate between Wifi on the Android and switching back to wireless carplay, I bombs. After 5 updates, I gave up and just use Carplay

@@adamprosenthal I dl power amp. it pulled all the files after reinserting the msd card again, I never could get it to recognize the card after turning off the car. it still doesn't unless I use Poweramp

Hi I got the 13” vivid 11 and can’t get the kenwood reversing camera to switch when I put it in reverse. My steering wheel controls don’t work .????? Any help is welcome The other thing I am driving from the uk to Croatia and using this as my sat nav. Tetherd to my mobile phone What would be the best app for Europe and are they reliable

As far as the reverse, I put it in the incorrect unit plug. frustrating. Also check the voltage the Kenwood camera needs. We use google in the US but requires a live connecction. My unit came with an app. I think TomTom

no, use a hotspot from your phone. in the US, it is $50 minimum for a Sim card device

I intalled this in my wife Highlander and when you put it in reverse, it mute the radio. Is there a way to change it to keep playing while is going in reverse? Any help will be appreciated.

Yes, there is a setting. I believe it’s in driver settings but you 100% can change that. I can check tomorrow.

How did you get the wheel knobs to show Fahrenheit? Mine shows the temperature in Celsius. Have you made or where do you make a “vivid” account? Have you tried another mic off Amazon? I am going to do that, you’re right about the call quality.

Just because he got one that was deflected doesn’t mean there all like that .. even big name brands have defects I bet you this guy didn’t take it back to get a new one ! @@tonycastaneda7700 I beg to differ with you. I was having fun with the video but I think the theme here is spend a few more dollars and get a better quality. They do make a higher end meter that’s a lot better. I think MASTECH makes their meters for higher end. And they’re better

Thank You. So much information in such a short time. That was extremely helpful. So what I’m gathering from your review is that it’s a better idea to just smash it with a hammer than return it and either replace it or get a refund. If you had only had it a month like you stated, your well within the return window. Looks like now your out the cost of that multimeter plus whatever you paid if you bought the unit from amazon. I give your review a thumbs up 👍🏼for dumbassery and a thumbs down 👎 for any actual useful content.

Harold Pavon most likely will but you may be able to find the leak. The issue is going to be without Freon the compressor won't spin and therefore will not circulate the freon. You can try it and you may find the leak but most likely you'll need for freon in. You can go to Sam's and most areas and buy a 30 pound cylinder for under $100. R134 is very volatile in regards to pricing

Harold Pavon add nitrogen to the system and pump it up to about 150lb static standing pressure and between electronic leak detector and bubbles you will be able to find it, then dump the nitrogen and repair leak... Vacume down and charge....
