Pelinka should already be gone. If lakers were smart (they’re not post Dr Buss) they’d fire him and offer massive bag to Presti, Myers, or Connelly at GM

JJ Reddick has never coached anywhere and he's been retired 3 years, sitting on his ass podcasting... Toronto and Charlotte didn't want him, 2 of the worst teams in the nba. But, you guys think JJ with his basic plays on a whiteboard would be a better coach than the back to back national championship coach??? Make it make sense 🤣
@1JamesHunter4 сағат бұрын
Brothers.... Y'all wrong. Alot. But, paying a coach that much money gives him power. Simple and plain. Players now know. The coach is going to be here and I could be gone. Simple.

Neither the Yankees nor the Dodgers have any pressure on them to win the world series this year. If it were years past, yes they would. However, the collective bargaining agreement has completely altered the playoffs in Major League baseball, favoring a postseason tournament over a traditional format. This means the season ends in September and literally a brand new season begins in October. While this same philosophy applied previous to the new CBA the addition of the bye and throwing more teams in has created an arbitrary scrum. There is simply no way to build a championship team anymore. The focus and obsession with October is fun to imagine, but in reality I've decided to enjoy the regular season more than the playoffs. In fact, because of the perverse nature of the random tournament, you can argue the regular season is actually more valid.

Uconn won back to back national championships, with a smooth offense of players moving and the ball moving, and a suffocating defense, by 20 ppg! Lebron does none of those things. He doesn't move well without the ball and he doesn't play defense for long periods of time... Hurley is a perfect NBA coach. But, how do you get Lebron to play, not just off the ball, but play defense??
@superdopehiphop2 сағат бұрын
Holy casual. LeBron just lead the NBA playoffs in DEFENSIVE Box Plus minus AND Stocks (steals + blocks). He was 84th percentile in Defensive Estimated Plus Minus. He also is one of the best off ball points per possession players in the NBA the last 3 yrs. He has to take more time to rest at times on D/O bc he’s played more mins then anyone ever and in yrs 19-22, but this notion he can’t play off ball and doesn’t play defense is embarrassingly wrong. There is a diff with conserving energy and being bad at something.
