6:26 ugh... vapors from polyflouroalkyl, or pfas (teflon and relatives) are nothing to mess with. You'll have cancer shortly. Instead of a brand new non-stick muffin tin, get a plain steel one and burn off the zinc with a torch, with plenty of ventilation. Then you have a non-stick black oxide ingot mold.

Probably the worst "conversion" I have seen:). Thankful and glad for videos and for people sharing it, and also for the fact that some people lack aesthetic knowledge. YT is full of super luxury builds and remakes, so its actually refreshing to see such a supercheap, non sensical "remake":). Thanks.

Question, do you struggle getting the bottom of the item? Or does it scan it automatically?
@IMEEMADE
@IMEEMADE 5 күн бұрын
You have to rotate the item to scan the bottom then align the scan data together to get the whole piece

I wonder if a 12v 7k BTU AC like this would be more efficient in cooling the back of a future 2025 Promaster 1500 EV van with 113kw EV battery using it's OEM A/C coming from the front? I suspect not and so it would be brilliant if those future EV vans had the forethought to realize we would like to use the OEM compressor to cool just 1/3 back half of the van overnight?. Some van lifers and EV fanatics are speculating a Van like this might be able to run the OEM A/C overnight for 10+ nights on a full charge! This would be insane if true, safe and did not void the 10y powertrain warranty on the van. .

WHAT? JSUT TO SCAN A CAR? HOLY
@IMEEMADE
@IMEEMADE 11 күн бұрын
It’s not just to scan the car, with the data I will be able to design new components, reverse engineer discontinued parts. The long term it’ll pay itself off over and over. This model is definitely a huge investment for a weekend warrior, bc it’s geared toward shops and professional use. There are a bunch of models to fit your needs!

@@IMEEMADE true but Damm dude. What's insane. Why didn't you go for one of the cheaper modles with lidar so you don't have to use points
@IMEEMADE
@IMEEMADE 11 күн бұрын
@@TheLastWolfBaneI started with a cheaper one that doesn’t use trackers. Though it’s fine, the trackers definitely allow the scanner to pick up super fine details. And reverse engineering old car parts where they’re usually never symmetrical the precision is a must IMO

Wouldn't mounting the scanner on a tripod make the scan less noisy? No way your hand isn't constantly jittering, even holding it against your chest.
@IMEEMADE
@IMEEMADE 13 күн бұрын
With this grade of scanner it doesn’t have to be on a tripod. The blue laser grid plus the tracking dots picks up the object quickly and accurately. I can wave this thing around like a wand almost
