Pretty weird to publish this in 2017, to be honest. Clearly this is older content... it's sad looking back at this, all those nice animations, glass effects, etc, that you point out, all of it was gone just a few years after Windows 7 released. Windows used to take some pride in the desktop operating system, if you ever want a good example, take a dive down the rabbit hole of how the dwm handles composition of the aero glass theme, it's actually very intricately fine tuned stuff - then Windows decided tablets and hybrids were all the rage, and started chasing the fisher price aesthetic. Next thing you know they also abandon the "stable release" model and basically every "feature update" has bugs in it, down to typos and capitalisation errors, there is no polish any more and the end user doubles up as the beta tester, nice....

Very interesting but it did't work on GETAC win10 tablet! When you are gonna go inside the command window it ask you the administrator password again, and itsn't possible to go inside the cmd window...! Do you have another option for this more secure equipment?

After few mins of trying to Repair the startup issue, when i select the View Details of Problem my screen doesn’t show the very last link to click to take me to Notepad. So basically I'm stuck. Any advice as to why I'm missing the link? Could I resume with the rest of the procedure under Guest user in the blank Notepad? Thanks for your help.

Would this work with a pirated windows 7? If not, how would I do it? My parents pirated windows 7 a while back and now we’re trying to restore the admin password in order to re-obtain the photos and videos of memories

If your Win 7 system has 3 - 4 users (admin, 2 or 3 regular users) and you can access one of the users accounts, & can bring up the CMD screen (run as administrator), how can you reset the users passwords, and the administrators?
