Thank you so much for this. I have a method that's been working but I've been wanting to improve. I like the second method you showed. My method is close to the third method you showed but I use the roll itself to lay the starter piece and then I use another roll on top so it acts like a steam roller and it unrolls the transfer tape as you go.... But I think the upside down method is gonna be my new preferred. I do projects 2 feet wide and up to 4 feet long.

when i cut the siser easyweed stretch and when i weed it the letters are coming up off the carrier sheet. the letters are small thin and i'm using a critcut maker to cut. Please help what should i do? thank you
@Expressionsvinyls26 күн бұрын
You should make your letters thicker. If they're coming up during weeding you're likely not going to end up with enough adhesive contact when applied for them to stick either.

Can you apply HTV over an existing HTV to cover it trying to switch logos on a canvas chair
@ExpressionsvinylsАй бұрын
Most likely. Without knowing exactly what it is you could have some adhesion issues, but there is a great chance it will work great!

This is going to be a game changer for me. I have 200 napkins for graduation I need to do. Currently using a Quill Pen to foil image on napkin. I’ve been practicing on other napkins so when I go to do to black napkins I will have it down. Well 1 out of 4 napkins came out great the other 3 tore😢.

Thanks for showing the easy way to line up the prints by folding, and using an iron to press the shirt down. That is my biggest concern, and some of the other videos have lots of fancy boards, rulers, etc. All those tools were getting confusing, and costly. I'm using parchment paper instead of your Teflon paper, hopefully it works good enough. I'm doing my first shirts this weekend with simple text on large 10-12 girls shirt. I believe 6 X 6 will be the best size.

@MarkWarbington4 ай бұрын
If you've ever cut vinyl wrong and then went back and cut the same vinyl correctly, you probably noticed little cracks after heat pressing where the vinyl was cut and not weeded. You can use that to your advantage and combine it with the technique you demonstrated here. It makes weeding more difficult so you'd only want to use it for one-off special projects, but it will add a nice detail to the overall effect.

Thank you so much for this video! What if I am mailing my design, can I do the wet application method for layering vinyl that I need to mail to my customers. The vinyl layers will need to remain on the paper and tape till they are at the customer's home.
@Expressionsvinyls4 ай бұрын
Wet application is only going to work for application to the blank. Wet between layers to build a decal that can be shipped is likely to be very difficult if not impossible.

The temperature is going to be specific to the HTV being used. Most HTV applies around 300 degrees.
