A little crazy story about the role that Vanished, the song, played in my life: In that period of my life I was struggling with depression and panic attacks/anxiety, I even tried to kill myself one time but fortunately I was saved by a police officer. After some time my friends decided to try to help me by bringing me to Malta with them on a small vacation, and make me try to have some fun and forget that brutal experience. One night, while we were in Sliema, a maltese city on the coast, we went to a private party organized by one of my friends friend. At the party, wich was in a big private house, I wasn't comfortable and decided to try to escape that hell by going outside, but I was lost and didn't know where the exit was, so I ended up in a bathroom like the one in the video and suddenly a girl comes out of one of the toilettes. She had a stunning beauty and I couldn't even say something to her because I was shoked by her amazing look ( or maybe it was the alcohol ahahaha), by the way she remained there and spent several minutes talking tryin' to help me cause I was still slightly in panic... Then suddenly Vanished started playing downstairs and she took my hand and dragged me out of the bathroom and we started dancing together, we had fun all night and then we went to her place. That night I encountered the love of my life, the only one that ever tried to confort me.

Под эти треки, больше двух лет назад закидывался джанком вместе с друзьями в местном хиппи-клубе. То еще время было, скажу вам - беспечное, в своей основе. После нескольких бэд-трипов бросил, сделав выбор в пользу здоровой психики. Но звук Crystal Castles плотно сплелся с ассоциацией свечения неоновых ламп, искаженных гримас, силуэтов людей, вибраций стен, параноидальных мыслей, танца теней рук, тянущихся к диско-шару, и вкусом того стаффа. Бывало весело, но чаще тревожно и апатично. Никому не советую, впрочем, как и себе.
