Can you say please, does the hot water heater sip propane or does it guzzle it? Like what size tanks do you use and how much hot water water do you get out of each tank before you have to refill the propane?

I have a very weird cooling issue on my norcold N611RT. Was working perfectly. Its a 2022 model and only started using in 2023. Suddenly its struggling to cool. Freezer just gets a bit cold. And the box down doesn't get cold at all. Fins are not cooling. Checked everything and everything working. Even tubes and heating stuff in the back are warm and hot. No codes. No flickering. Just no cooling. Checked thermister ohm its fine. Not really sure what's going on. One day it just cooled for half day then not cooling again No faults. 120 working. Gas working. No amonia leak. Tried to leave it on both 120 and gas separately for long times. Same results. If anyone knows kindly help

5 to 10yrs is bad???? They are 8.00usd!?!?! Just replace them every 2 yes wtf... Lmao your an idiot. This prevents your pipes from having that red build up sht in your pipes which you cause when you attach those fancy water hose adapters for watering your plants. The fact you made a video and exposed yourself speaks volumes...congratulations on making many people less intelligent for trusting you.

Sorry, I can NOT give this a "thumbs up" rating. #1) NEVER, NEVER, NEVER use an impact drill on small screws that are DESIGNED to break off,,, and are probably rusted too. #2) "YOU" damaged the threads by not completely removing the set screw. You are lucky the threads still worked well enough when you screwed on the new unit. Take an extra few minutes and use a screw extracter after drilling the screw out. Actually, why did you drill out the screw anyway? The screw was still against the spigot threads. Seems like you missed an essential step there. #3) You need to be mindfull of the overspray when spraying oils. It's not really a big deal, but the customer may think it is when they see their a/c unit has oil sprayed on it. It's the little things that make a customer happy. Good video, but you should think of your audience that may not have done this before. If they take your recommendations and do them, they could really create more problems for themselves. That's my $0.02 opinion.

I run RV parks. Every year the health department rolls through and makes us spend a lot of money reinstalling these after tenants and guests have removed them. The whole thing is stupid.

Thank you! I absolutely hate the one like you replaced - it soaks me every time I turn on the faucet, which is a lot, since our dog likes to drink from the faucet so I'm getting sprayed multiple times a day & it really sucks during the winter!!! I just ordered the Spigot Master so fingers crossed it finally stops the constant leaking with high costs associated to those 24/7 leaks and stops the spraying! Now just waiting for my order!!!

I replaced my thermoster. I also replaced thermostat. I’m at 50 degrees in fridge. The freezer works great. The pipes are hot so it’s expanding ammonia. What about the fan? I’m also it to the point of swapping for a residential fridge and we Rv full time. I have norcold N8XF

I’m lucky if mine will get below 50. It runs and cools and I checked the thermister last year according to the chart but it checked good. I’m found a test run before a trip and the first day I turned it on it hit 50°. The second day I put several waters on the top shelf and struggled to get below 60°.. it’s so unreliable I’m stuck using a cooler or may have to break down and buy a new unit which is crazy expensive. This caper is only a couple years old and was purchased new. It never has worked good.

You have been tricked you idiot...it saved you a massive repair build. Think of it as a shield that needs to be replaced every 5 to 10yrs or less. If you don't use it than guess what you will need to replace??? Guess where the leak will be? Most likely in the walls or under the ground.....can you fix stupid??? Who knows...

I knew I should have shut this video down when this guy started dropping disparaging remarks about handicapped people. But then he goes on to spew more ignorance and recommending people use a known carcinogen (PB Blaster, that can be fatal if swallowed) on their hose bib that he's removing the backflow protection on...

Drilling out the setscrew is a rookie move. Over drill and you will be calling a plumber. Simply use a cut off wheel on a dremel to cut a slot in the set screw. Then use a screwdriver to back it out. It works because I've done it.

1:32 #1 cause of water back siphoning are fire truck pumps pulling water from a plug. Contaminating the public water supply with yard chemicals like roundup and fertilizers is the concern, not sewage. It also allows the firetruck to draw more water to fight a fire because the anti-siphon will close the pumps are not sucking air from everybody’s yards. You might feel different about it if it’s your house on fire.

In my OSHA30 class there was a case we discussed about a dude that died from arsenic poisoning. He had a bottle of pesticide hooked up to his hose spraying his yard. Since it was hot out, eventually he went inside and had a cold glass of water from the tap...he didn't know there was a fire 2 blocks away, and the use of the hydrants caused backflow conditions. The pesticide got sucked into his potable system, and it killed him. I'm sure it doesn't happen very often. It can happen though. I'm glad backflow prevention is taken more seriously nowadays

No arsenic in domestic pesticides these days, but yes - if you’re going to use a spray-through pesticide or chemical spray connected to your main line hose, don’t leave it connected when not in use

I don’t have a set screw, it’s completely smooth and leaks like crazy. How do I remove it?! I have little hands, I’m not strong, I don’t have someone else to help and I can’t afford to hire someone. Also, did you somehow turn off the water somewhere else before you started this? If I unscrew the handle, water comes out

I used a dremel and slowly cut a V into it until I could break off a chuck with pliers and then took a wrench and unscrewed it. I did cut into the spigot thread a bit so be very careful.

I can see only - ONE - PROBLEM REMOVING THE ANTI SYPHONING DEVICE. "IT IS ILLEGAL TO TEMOVE IT ! " And by the same token as having insurance, you don't need it.. until you do... and if by any chance, Your "no antisiphoning" spigot can be traced to be the source of some kind of locally spreaded water borne disease... hey ! you are in for a very fun, expensive and long LEGAL PROCESS... SOOOOO what do you think ?
