The veteran women of the WNBA, thought Caitlin would struggle and that they could bully her and push her around, with unnecessary brutal physical hard fouls and intimidation. Caitlin took though fouls in strides, and continued to learn the pace and flow of the WNBA, ignoring the hate, from her opponents that seemingly didn’t want her to succeed, nor did they want her on the Olympic Team USA roster. Since she wasn’t on that squad, she clearly took advantage of that time off and study film and worked out, getting ready for the remaining schedule. Her opponents still can’t accept her and still do petty things towards her, to intimidate her, but Caitlin is above those insignificant tactics. Caitlin, just goes out and plays her game of basketball, which is exciting and brings fans to the arena’s and their TV’s! It’s ironic, none of the players before Caitlin Clark’s arrival, had an impact on the WNBA, like Caitlin’s arrival has brought to the league. And her opponents have a problem with that, as do former WNBA players. It’s no coincidence that the gay/lesbian and homosexual women of WNBA, including former players, have a problem with Caitlin Clark. They seem to have hate towards her for not being gay or a lesbian or homosexual. In addition, Caitlin speaks with clarity and articulation and like she has a college education, and not ignorant and stupid like some athletes, who should never have a microphone in their face to answer questions. There are a lot of good players in the WNBA, but they haven’t changed the landscape, like Caitlin Clark has done, since she arrived and started playing for head coach, Christie Sides, and the Indiana Fever. Caitlin Clark, should be strongly considered for both, Most Valuable Player and Rookie of the Year, for the 2024 season! Furthermore, it’s sad that players like: A’ja Wilson, Brenna Stewart or Skylar Diggings-Smith, whose popularity hasn’t been able to draw new fans or improve the attendance or atmosphere of the WNBA, when they entered the league; the way Caitlin Clark’s arrival has!

First, I think the U.S. should require a DNA test for Womens and men's sports to determine participation as a good sportsmanship thing to do and try to get the Olympic committee to-do the same. Second, Catlin fan base has increased the average attendance for women's basketball very significantly from below 4000 per game in 2023 to almost to 10000 in 2024. That has put teams in better financial position and possible attract new teams and expand the league. A quiet thank you would be better than criticism, as she has demonstrated said nothing but love for the sport.
