this was my first deine lakaien song ever i think. it was in some obscure radio program in poland in early 2000s, it was after tomek beksinski was gone, the transmission wasnt by him even if if felt as if it was. i cant remember many details now, i recorded it and even illiustrated it just for myself, but the tape doesnt exist anymore, one of the other songs i discovered by it was snowfish by fairies fortune, side project of sleeping dogs wake, which i was able to find, and some song by vehemence realized that wasnt on their album severe. now if anyone can help me, there was another song in that transmission i could never find, it included the words city of light/lights, it just deosnt exist, not even on discogs which usually tracks everything. i cant offer any material goods but will be eternally grateful for helping me track some long lost things :3 there was also a song somewhere with words neither lost nor found, i didnt find that either, there is a song with that name, but i clearly remember it as some sort of darkwave etc related thing and its just nowhere on the web as i remember it.

Unlike the vast majority of techno and D&B I liked n the 90s, this has aged surprisingly well. The real percussion elements and the hints of dub production frame the ambient drones very pleasingly. Touches of Jah Wobble’s vocal free pieces with Czukay like eccentricity.
