Sounds interesting. I have severe arthritis and Osteoporosis. My right leg and right calf has not been working as well for three years and wondering if this would help me a bit better for strengthening? I use a walker at age 52. My Drs have not even done a Catscan or even a MRI yet to check the bones or muscle issue and want me on physical therapy. But I am trying to request those images before Physical therapy because I only got x rays and see if there is more detailed information on images. Thank you for your Pod Casts I love Pod Casts very informative for everyone! Oceanside Ca!

thanks. this goes with The video you and Brad did this morning. I am going to try the K TAPE on my hyperextended knee and my dropped foot. It can't hurt to try. Even if I only get a little improvement. It's OK

Why is this guy listed as a chiropractor and neurologist in the description? His degree is in chiropractic, and neurologist implies a degree in medicine and further training in neurology. This is misleading at best.

It is true. So many of my past physical therapy sessions were an inconvenience and a waste of my time, because so much of it could have been done at home by myself.

Now 77, I worked at the University of Minnesota in the 70's & 80's. There was a old gentleman that daily walked backwards on the flat surface for a half hour. He said he was part of a paid study. I don't know the outcome, just know that he advocated for it and continued to get older......I've been doing it on and off ever since. The health club I belong to has a couple of unpowered treadmills with adjustable tension and a fixed incline. All good. I have no pain or mobility issues to date.

Natural sunlight in the morning will reset you for daytime. It causes Melatonin (sleepy hormone) to decrease, so that you're more alert, and it causes Serotonin (alert, happy) to increase. Melotonin Serotonin 2 hours before bed, you reset toward sleep mode. Your Serotonin falls back, and Melotinin increases. It requires low to no light, and no screens. Screens hyperstimulate the brain, and then the body can't relax. If you arent relaxed, get relaxed.

Hi guys, I am 77 and I love Ben’s teachings. I do the backwards treadmill first then tib raises, calf raises( straight and bent knees) and my elephant walk, seated good mornings, step ups( a low step) and split squats on my stairs. My right knee is still not like new, due to a bad injury 2 years ago, but I can tell it is a little better all the time. 😊❤

Anyone concerned about their back and pain go see an Orthopedic Specialist. All these DIY back experts are just quacks. Have followed this guys method only to find out I need a fusion do to a Grade 1 into 2 SPONDYLOLISTHESIS. His excercises did absolutely nothing for me. I have lived with this pain for 10 years and finally have experienced severe sciatica for another year. I am thinking about my quality of life now and hopefully with this fusion it will improve. Some matters of the body cannot be helped with YT quacks!

I’m 64 and while i thought I was in pretty good shape, but I realized my knees were not functional. I couldn’t get up off the floor without ALOT of help. I started with the book and now I have been a subscriber to his program for 7 months. Highly recommend

Is hypothyroidism simply another name for hashimoto disease or is it a subset disease or? I'm confused as I've been diagnosed with hypothyroidism, however, no one ever mentioned hashimoto disease? And I was told not to worry as it is very, very common... Like it was no big deal.

Im wondering if using a resistance band around your ankles while walking backward would work.
@Gufenaugh
@Gufenaugh Ай бұрын
I put to large bands together (Rogue fitness bands looped together) anchor them to something sturdy and can walk backwards roughly 4-6 steps against resistance, the slowly go back to starting point forward which also fights the band to keep from going forward too fast. Wear band around hip. Bit tedious, but 3-5 minutes gets job done. Can do in 12 foot area. Garage might be good area.
