Completely misses the Black Diamond section on Monongahela, from the bridge to the city borderline, turns around at the New Eagle post office, still more of New Eagle to go, finishes in Carroll Township, neither Monongahela or New Eagle.

This is for all of you that are bad mouthing the firefighters. In rural communities they have to rely on volunteers for the fire and EMS. These men and women work for very little or no money and put a lot of time into training and on calls. Myself I volunteered for my local department for 33 years with no pay. Thanks to all firefighters and EMS that volunteer.

Amen to that! Anybody willing to sacrifice their time to help others is a hero. When same people who say mean things need help they would come begging these people for for it. And you know these volunteers would never deny giving help to anybody who needed it. Even if it was the same people who said bad things to them in the first place. I agree with you 100%!! It’s heartbreaking to think that there are thousands of jobs gone now because all of the factories have closed. That generates more tax revenue into the local economy for infrastructure upgrades, allows people to support families, and gives folks additional income to fix up their houses and properties. There is nothing left. Not just in Jeannette it’s everywhere like a plague. We don’t make anything anymore, the economy is now mostly based on provided a service, the medical industry, law enforcement or education. Thanks for watching!

In the olden days (yeah I'm a Boomer) you could still recognize the cars. And they had to be full size rear wheel drive. Not even a Chevelle or a Cutlass or a Nova... but by 72 or so, smaller cars started showing up. A Falcon station wagon ended up taking the money in one derby. But those front wheel drive cars in there without even any rear tires... LOL! I think the car that got slammed in the middle early on might have been a Mustang II - otherwise I could not identify a single car in this thing. One had what looked like a fake rear wheel not even touching the ground. Holy Kenner SSP Batman! Wide World of Sports staged a derby once using new, expensive cars... the Rolls Royce caught on fire immediately. I'd like to see a Euro Derby - is this too redneck of a sport for our Continental Cousins? How about Citroens going at it... bouncing on their opponents with their air suspensions. Now I'm getting psyched up for the county fair. Maybe I'll make it this year.

Thanks for the reply. I am trying to find out more about the plant. To see who owns it. I like to get a hold of them. I have a lot of Samuel Dillinger info. How I ended up with it is I knew Wendell Dillinger at the M&H Railroad. He did a lot of research on his family tree. Samuel name and the distillery kept coming up. Wendell was the owner for years at the M&H and spent a lot of time researching on a lot of things in his life. That again for the reply. SRBX.

You are right, there is a lot of controversy about pre-bending the rear ends into a wedge like that. I think it has just gradually gotten out of control, but not without a reason as to why. You don’t want another driver to be able to get under you and tear the rear end off or roll you, so what can you do? Match him or go lower. So what does that driver do? match or go lower. And what happens if you do nothing at all? You get rolled or the wheels get tore off. It’s not that I disagree with you, but there are legit reasons why it’s happening in the sport. Plus with the limited availability of cars and how expensive they’ve gotten, you try to get 3 or 4 or more runs out of a build. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Congrats and happy birthday to them! We get cats and kittens dropped off on our farm all the time. I wish people would just do the right thing and get their pets spayed/neutered. But I will never turn down a hungry/thirsty lost animal. You never know that might be the only meal or drink they get that day. Thanks for watching. @lookingback6314 When we got Liam and Loralie, their previous owner left them in a box at my dad’s work place and never returned, we never found out who it was or why they left them there. Dad soon brought them home and we’ve had them ever since. I was 8 when they arrived, and were just little babies in 2011. I’ve had those 2 cats for basically half my life and have been the best emotional support.

Aww man I’m so happy to hear that your family saved them. They truly are the best friends you can have. It sounds like it was meant to be that you were there for them and they are there for you too. There is a difference between people who just “own” a pet cat vs somebody who lives with them and communicates daily with them. I can tell you this they are not what most people think they are. They are amazing creatures, highly intelligent. I can get a cats attention and get it to come to me just from eye contact and a certain look from rooms away. They are always listening and alert, even if they don’t act like it sometimes. 🤣

Yeah it also didn’t help that the 1st and 2nd place cars were driven by a father/son team….but what can you do. You find generational drivers in the same heat at most demolition derbies anymore….Build to beat them or bring a crew with you. Thanks for watching!
