The Osun state election may have to be generally cancelled or given to PDP simply for the fact that INEC has allowed the rule to be changed. One an INEC Officer ran away with electoral materials while the other destroyed the result, both Officers should be jailed for life. Secondly under the watch of INEC parties are forming coalition, that should not be allowed, the situation should remain unchanged and parties should likewise take their fair share of the votes. Now, under the instrumentality of INEC a winning party could be rubbed of her victory.

Aregbesola had some issues but not enough for the more satanic PDP. In all honesty I witnessed his first term in office and he did very well. 1.Security - Aregbesola deployed armoured personnel carriers to all local governments strategically positioned at their commercial areas mostly around banks. Also patrol vehicles deployed to areas of the state. Those measures dealt with bank robbery incidents in the state. Osun state mostly ife,Ilesha and other notable areas used to be terrible areas of attack for bank robbery incidents. 2. Schools reconstruction : Although he messed up in some decision making areas like merging of schools, having the same uniform for schools which doesn't make sense to me , He built at least two new schools in each of the local governments. I saw the public schools and I can attest to the quality and well structured. One would even think that they are private schools. 3. ROADS : The massive construction of roads in his 1st term was part of the reasons why he won 2nd term DESPITE the onslaught during the election. 4. Employment : I was aware of the employment of youths in the state under the O yes scheme but if it was well sustained into the 2nd term is what I can't confirm 5. HEALTH: The general hospitals in the state were seriously renovated and equipped. In fact treatment for under age and aged was free. But with frequent strikes thereafter ,I am not sure of how the people enjoyed the facilities. At least I was aware of those areas of commitment but my major worry stems from inability to pay salaries which he was paying workers up to the 13th month. His inability to effectively carry the workers along in their serious plight gave him a bad RECORD. Workers from health to education and so on suffered a lot. However it later became obvious that all Nigerian states were already owing workers except Lagos. No doubt I believe it would still be a difficult election for the party to win regardless of the candidates of other rival parties.
