Same here, JLD became one of my favorite New 52 titles. Animal Man was also a sleeper hit me fore as well thanks to the Rot World Crossover. Appreciate the support and am always happy to see more New 52 fans. We gotta unite lol

I really liked Midnighter's costume in the New 52. Honestly, this was a cool book but I felt overwhelmed trying to understand it as a new reader in 2014-2015 with the context of the old Authority lingering.

I thought the costume for Midnighter was pretty cool too, the straight black with the trench coat seemed and a bit generic. The whole lot of WildStorrm characters and plot threads in the New 52 was definitely tricky to navigate. For myself included.

I mean, do you have until tomorrow to listen? I could go on for a while lol. l If I had to try and pick something quick it would be Batman Vol.4-5 Secret and Dark City. I didn't realize how far the Zero Year story rippled through out the New 52 until I started collecting the whole thing and the talent who came up with the main plot presented it phenomenally. The Rot World cross over would probably be a second favourite, Scott Snyder and Jeff Lemire hit that one out of the park. What was your favourite part?

THIS WAS SUCH A GOOD RUN! There are like a half dozen Aqua-Mans if not more and I wish they made all of them different in government name and look at the least. Especially now with 7 different Atlantis' existance, and I think Marvel and D.C. should have other aquatic setttlements and civilizations also to add more excitement. The only 2 stories in comics for aquatic characters that get any attention are Namor and Aqua-man and both of them have the same story and I think that hurts sales for aquatic characters and stories.

I absolutely agree, Geoff Johns did wonderful things for Arthur and the fact that his family of characters isn't a staple in DC is surprising. 70% plus of our planet is water, and much of it is has been unseen. Potential for a whole lot of creativity and imagination for new stories and plots.

@@TheDCNew52Review I wish he could have kept going because he only did 23 issues. I would have liked to see 50 issues or so. I would like to see new aquatic characters (heroes and villains) and supporting characters around them, with use of more characters from each characters rogue gallery, and I understand most don't read Aquaman or Namor but I think it's because the aquatic envirnment hasn't been flushed out at all.... I don't understand why as many stories don't take place in oceans as in space, and even if more are stories are told in space I think a healthy universe has a descent amount of stories in water.

He for sure could've kept going but it seemed like he wanted to focus on the Justice League because of the Trinity War and his Green Lantern run had wrapped up. Just one crisis like story with Arthur as the focal point would help tremendously in my own opinion. Like a Flashpoint or Dark Nights: Metal but Aquaman edition. And hey if the writers like space so much you sort of pitched a great idea, underwater stories on other planets, Atlantean-esque beings from another world. @@cliffwoodbury5319

@@TheDCNew52Review But he ended it on such a high note... Its not he lost his way or it had a great definate ending... I think he could have kept going, and when you think about it. He was building the ground work for the other kingdoms of Atlantis that came in the movie around the same time, and he could have added so much to that lore, that d.c. still hasn't worked to much on

Oh definitely, Throne of Atlantis could've been his finale but he gave an encore with the Death of a King story. Maybe and hopefully we'll see some new stuff in that realm of D.C after the whole cinematic reboot, which we'll include new comics.@@cliffwoodbury5319

It isn't New50 unless it has to be edgy, dear God this Firestorm issue is a rushed mess, it should've started off slow with Ronnie Reyes/Martin Stein Firestorm, then Jason Ruch gets his own solo run Firestorm adventures with prof. Stein and finally Ronnie and Jason have their own adventures when prof. Stein unites them and passes on his part of Firestorm matrix to both. From then on Ronnies and Jason become THE Firestorm, at first struggling to work together but over their united run they trully finalize the Firestorm legacy

Edgy and early shock value scenes were definitely prevalent in the New 52 that’s for sure. I didn’t mind the Ronnie Raymond-Jason Rusch duo but they didn’t do Dr.Stein any favours which 100% bothered me.
