This was just terrible presentation. If you don't need to switch the card then you should bring it out in the cleanest way possible. Deliberately doing it in a sneaky way for no reason just makes the act look worse.

i think it was a switch in the end and they just lied about it, after all that's what magicians do best - LIE. they make up a story to misguide audience and then do something else. i think it was most obvious lie, because the impossible part is that signed card gets into his mouth thru tape

These guys are brilliant, but almost cheating with the fake switch at the end! The actual card in the mouth bit is genuis, so fast and so well hidden within the act

very lame to cater the trick to mislead P&T... The whole thing with the tongs should be to prove you didn't switch it, then you palm it so heavily after, any amateur could pull this off. Ruined their own work for the sake of a trophy...

if it wasnt a switch then why remove the card from sight other than to make penn and teller use up their guess. i dont think they would have fooled them had they not done that and i think the act knew this and did that palming of the card intentionally. which isnt cool imo

Either the switch at the very end which is usually done or the tape is strechable and stranded on the width which allows him to open his mouth and put the card in when he was slapped in the back and folded his body down. Why did they have to do the obvious apparent switch at the end? They could have still fooled Penn and Teller who did not suspect the tape since they did a similar trick but with the switch at the end.

That duct tape over the eyes at the beginning was a bit aggressive. 😆

He told me that he's guaranteed the steps to work 100%. You just need to do them guininly. It's not hard. Do those steps in that order please. It's all True. I promise.

Pen and Teller forgot that nothing happens by accident, I know how the trick is done I don't wanna spoil it for you but I can guarantee you that the card was indeed in his mouth (it was not a switch).

There was a card switch when you put the tongs in your breast pocket. For two seconds the folded card was out of sight. To prove the card switch, Teller initialed the card after the duct tape was applied over the face of your partner of crime. Therefore the card is not the same.

it looked like there was a card switch. if there wasn't, why not take the card out of his mouth with the tweezers and holding it away from him give it directly to teller?

The taped up guy is palming the folded card at 2:50. When he gets smacked in the back of the head about 2:52, he bends forward and stuffs the bent card in his mouth.
