In their movie The Song Remains The Same, this is John Paul Jone's fantasy sequence. The live version is excellent.

You guys should really watch a Danish rap number called: > Djämes Braun - Fugle (Official Music Video) < You can skip the intro monologue, (if you wish), and start at 0.40. And you should also watch this music video: > Nephew feat. Johnson - Statusopdaterer At Jeg Statusopdaterer. < It is truly Awesome.

They sang it word for word! Front man is David Draiman. David Draiman was raised as an Orthodox Jew and his amazing voice is due to the fact that not only was he born with it, but he is also a trained Cantor. I've also learned that David Draiman and Disturbed addresses depression, addiction and suicide during every concert, performance offering support and understanding. They are one of the most popular, beloved bands of our time! Diane ❤❤❤😊

so many more blink 182 songs to get to - i really wish i hated you, she's out of her mind, bored to death, all the small things, first date, the rock show, stay together for the kids, feeling this, dammit, after midnight, dumpweed, don't leave me, i miss you still need more offspring - let the bad times roll, turning into you, the future is now, (can't get my) head around you

Also, be sure to react to their live performance on Conan. NOTE: David Draiman was really sick for the Conan live performance, and I heard he was not pleased with his performance. Being the perfectionist that he is, I can understand why he felt that way. However, the production as a whole performance was amazing, and his was EXCEPTIONAL! I loved it. So POWERFUL and EMOTIONAL! - Disturbed "The Sound Of Silence" 03/28/16 | CONAN on TBS Team Coco Thanks, Diane ❤😊

You got a bad video... And it's Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. My following comments are from watching Disturbed's official B&W 4K upgrade Cover Video of "The Sound of Silence": OMG, the tissues I've 🤧 gone through since I discovered David Draiman and Disturbed performing their rendition of "The Sound of Silence" on April 29, 2024. That day I have to believe my spirit 🙏 guides (out of the blue) first led me to a cover video by Dan Vasc singing "Amazing Grace" which was phenomenal 👏 and then to the cover video of Disturbed and David Draiman singing this most POWERFUL, EMOTIONAL 😂rendition of Simon and Garfunkels "The Sound of Silence". NOTE: For those interested, here's some history on Paul Simon, who wrote the song in 1964. Watch their video from back then m.kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pNGFgqR0rNqrlnU.html. It's a whole different vibe. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sound_of_Silence I'm 75 and was 15 when they released one of the most popular, iconic classical songs of our time during the 60's. It's amazing how relevant it is today. Actually, I feel it is even more relevant now more than ever, by how we're so attached to our electronics and don't actually share our thoughts and feelings with each other. Because of that, it actually becomes more difficult to do so. We are losing our ability to really be able to communicate with each other. No wonder we've become so divided. I've spent days listening and seeing the many Reactional channel hosts and each of your reactions and hearing all of your comments, which I have thoroughly enjoyed. I still 😢 almost every time I watch and listen to it. I've also noticed that more males have shown more emotion and gotten teary-eyed than the females, just an observation. Thanks, Diane ❤😊

I found out about a month ago, my step mom has Alzheimer's, I know this isn't what James' song is about but it feels like it to me. I lost my Mama in 2008 (I was 29), and by the time my Granma passed in 2021 (I was 42) she didn't know who I was. The last time I saw her, she was telling me my Mama was sick 😢💔❤🩹.

You should listen to tge Danish band Dizzy Mizz Lizzy. As you can probably hear by the name the lead vocalist/song writer and guitarist Tim Christensen is heavily influenced by The Beatles. But this is of their newer stuff.kzfaq.info/get/bejne/a7SPlbOrsr2Vf4U.htmlsi=9RXun0J1L3hlxCyT 2:21

Both James and his Father were Army Officers in the British Military. At one time in their careers, they were both being deployed and it was difficult for them to say goodbye. James' father came up with the saying, "I'm not your father, you're not my son, we're just two grown men saying goodbye". James turned it around and used it in the song.

Yep that was his Dad in the video. And his dad was actually dying at that point of Stage 4 kidney disease.. James and his sister unfortunately wasn't a match to donate a kidney and his dad already donated one his kidneys so it wasn't really looking good for his dad.. This song was released and a distant cousin saw the video. Got in contact with the Blunt family. Started talking and got tested to see if the cousin was a match. And he was! He tested positive and because of this video his dad is now well and alive. Such an amazing story... Also *The Girl that never was* by James Blunt is a good one. Maybe not as sad but not far from it.

AT THE TIME Lennon said it was for "fans" who were finding "hidden" messages where there were none. So he threw in nonsense bits for them. It was not like he thought highly of those fans. And he'd been writing like that AS A KID because he loved Lewis Carroll's _Alice in Wonderland_ and "Jabberwocky".
