My guess is you're seeing when I'm leading, a red/orange car with black back is behind me (Morgan Burkhard) and Bobby is third behind him. My car is red up front but black and white in the back.

Its 2024 and I still come back here every now and then to see you drive this thing like a demon! Also the intake on the reverse camera makes it look like a bonnet cam, making it look like the car is reversing around track at high speeds. My brain knows its not but I keep seeing it that way anyways 😂 Hope you are still racing! Stay safe dude

You had the speed, you just got out-braked by EVERYBODY! You were trying to carry speed through the corners when you should have been attacking them... Next time bra.

Good eye! I made a big damper change before the race and ended up really not liking it. It hurt my exit on to the back straight and had a major impact on rear brake lock up into 10a (the big braking zone). I never got the car squared up from that change during the race and it was a major factor. Again, good eye!

That was one race where you did not make the donuts lol. Got a little messy & ya man that mistake cost you like 4/5places. Guessing your screen was cleaner than the dusted camera he he. Thanks for the ride Denny

The majority of folks wanted it reversed so that it shows the same side as the front camera… so I started doing that a while back :).

looks awesome. I did a RCN race in 2017 and have wanted to go back since. I’m racing the c1 belgian cup this year for a few races. I drove a m235i once and it was pretty hard to drive, also understeered a lot, weird transmission and very heavy. assuming m240i is the same. prefer the e90 m or non m or porsche

Good Ol' TWS. I bought a Spec Racer from Brian Till in 1983. Went from pole to last to first once. Did it again but spun in the short shute and fell out of first. On my second lap in a Spec racer, I was .01 off the track record. Division champ for two years and moved on. Did you ever do the Run-offs in Atlanta? My best start was 3rd and crashed heavily in warm-ups. Let go of the steering wheel or you'll break a finger as I did. Still finished sixth with only 3rd and 4th gear. My sons have my skills and would like to go racing. Is there a GOOD rental in DFW? My car was maintained in Nebraska. LOVED Hallet, Road America, and Road Atlanta. I out-qualified everyone at the Run-off in the rain by one second. Ah, the good ol' days. You're a damn good driver. Tighten up your apex - but your timing and knowing when to charge is impeccable.

What a great race, well done. Unfortunate ending, the 61 car had run a pretty clean race until then. Half way through I thought the 31 (i think) car was going to cause the problem, as he was definitely the loosest driver. thanks for sharing, I used to work SCCA races at Thunder hill, worked the pre grid.

Looks like a great time and a great result. In all the videos of the Ring that I've seen none were of full race laps, but mainly just open track days. Seeing all of the manned corner stations made me appreciate the number of volunteers (assuming they aren't paid) that it takes to run a race on that course - pretty impressive, and they must have a pretty sophisticated communications system to handle the radio traffic too. Back in the '80s I worked a number of smaller SCCA events as a corner worker, but never an event of this size, so interesting to see that side of it. Also noted no debris flags even though there was some debris evident on the track - maybe the Europeans don't use debris flags? Anyway, congrats on a great drive and great finish!

It was a pretty uneventful race... until it wasn't! Though I am sure that leading all those laps without a speed mark ahead and having the followers catch up with you on almost every turn was nerve-wrecking. Thanks a lot for the full race unedited. It looks like your main camera footage could use some brightness/contrast adjustment or maybe switching from studio RGB to computer RGB levels - it usually tends to appear pale if levels / color spaces do not match. In case if you are editing in Sony Vegas, it should be as simple as adding Video Track FX to the main camera video track, adding the Sony Levels and then picking the 'Studio RGB to Computer RGB' option. Brightness and contrast can be tweaked by adding the corresponding FX. And also your rear camera looks a bit unsyncronized with the main one. But still - those are just suggestions to maybe keep an eye on in the future. Better an imperfect video than no footage. Hope to see more awesome racing from you soon.

Good call… it was for a car stranded off track driver’s right well past the corner. The problem was that it was across the track from any corner stations so it took a while to verify driver was ok and that the car was well out of danger. Probably could have been 1 or 2 laps but it was an odd, and unusual spot so they played it safe which I get. The car isn’t visible from my camera.

That car doesn't look like it enjoys being driven one hand at a time too much. Looks like quite the feat with how much the wheel is kicking about. I don't know him, but I hope Mike can stomp out that cancer! Best of luck to him!
