Roberto is a many decades real friend, and his family is like family to me. I am forever indebted to Roberto for being alive, and assisting my guitar playing career. Sadly, Roberto didn’t mention my dearest ever talented bandleader and astonishing steel drummer Einstein Brown and his band Sapadilla as being one of the first reggae soca bands in Southern California, plus backing band for Pato Banton and Tippa Irie. Grazie di cuore e apprezzamento Roberto. Sua madre molto gentile Anna, e suor Irene per avermi trattato come un essere umano.

Another good and quite interesting episode. Love LGB! Discovered them in the early 90's - at the time Music To Bowl By came out. Got immediately hooked on that crazy 2Tone sounding band! Ska regards from 🇨🇵

Ezzat couldn’t get the insurance claim because I wasn’t over 25. So we technically violated the rental car contract. None of us were over 25.

Jonas almost didn’t make it in the band. He got in on enthusiasm. That was before we knew he could sing. I actually pushed for him to get in. I used a lot of Stewart Copeland, Terry Bozzio and Neil Peart influences for the parts I came up with. Mark and Alex also had a rock background as well. The fusion of all of us together showed what would come in the future with the ska/punk movement.

Johnny also produced Viernes 13's last album, Thirteen Rules. He really captured the sound and feel of the live show. we worked with him over at least 2 years to complete the album, and released it in January of 2015.
