Hello, Mike! It's me Eric Ryder. Great review on the movie "Miami Vice". I agreed with a lot of what you said and I too found this to be an average film not up to par with all the other thrillers that Michael Mann has made over the years, which is shame because the adaptation from the series was where Mr. Mann's filmography started when he was an executive producer back in the 1980's. There were a few gripes I had with the film being it was too long in duration and the plot was at times indecipherable. I also felt that although Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx as Crockett and Tubbs were okay in their respected roles, they lacked the charismatic drive that Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas had in the 1980's. Barry Shabaka Henley looks more imposing as Sgt. Castillo Luis Tosar was quite impressive as the main villain Montoya with his suave looks and charming personality like any good movie villain should impose. And Li Gong as Tosar's co-worker as a fine piece of work Her scenes with Crockett always seemed to steam my glasses. She chewed her scenes with her seductive body language. I also too felt the last ten minutes just stops there without really any conclusion and I felt cheated as well. If ever you are free, stop by my channel and check out my "Miami Vice' review. Feel free to leave a comment. Okay/ Thank you very much.

You people don't understand what you're saying. Every time you mention ban this or ban that you are 100% promoting totalitarianism which in theory is complete control of the masses to save them from their own ignorance. Once we start banning sports for "brutality" then we just move on to music for "promoting brutality" then on and on. When you say "Ban this sport" your really saying take away our freedoms

It has the same amount of violence that boxing have. But not much people complains about it as they complains about MMA. I think in the both cases the figther and the crowd have to be aware of how deadly these contests are.

How is it worse than boxing? In MMA if you get knocked down and can't keep your guard up then the fight is over, even if they can get back up quickly afterwards. Meanwhile in boxing they keep fighting if they can get up within 10 seconds. There's also a maximum of 5 rounds in MMA. Boxing is clearly more violent when it comes to knockouts, and knockouts are the most dangerous part of both sports. Boxers can get knocked out 10 rounds in a row if they're dumb enough to get up, but if an MMA fighter is knocked out only once then the fight is over.

From 1993 to 2015, one death related to pro mma injuries. Boxing on the other hand from 1998 to 2006, has 70 deaths attributed to it. In mma when a person is essentially ko'd, then it's over, in boxing they get a standing count and go on to take more punishment. www.askmen.com/sports/fanatic_300/316_which-is-more-dangerous-boxing-or-mma.html

Right on, Joe! You are so right about standing up for a script you wrote and believe in. There are so many script analysts who've written one or two scripts no one's ever heard of, who love to charge money to stomp on other people's scripts -- so you're an idiot if you pay them to do so. Just DON'T DO IT!.

Better insurance and pay for these guys? This is not a necessity. There are many more important jobs out there that deserve better pay and insurance such as teachers and caregivers to name a couple. They know the dangers, they choose this and if they do not like the risks, pay or insurance then they should go find a job better to their liking. If you get punched in the head for a living you should know undesired consequences can occur.

shit yeah i believe what he says at the end - better health insurance for fighters and better pay. If the UFC has mad loot to expand into other countries - so many in 2013 and more to come in 2014, they could have reined in their expansion and shelled out some of that cizzash to the fighters. UFC IS IN DANGER OF BECOMING THE WALMART OF FIGHT PROMOTIONS.
