Thanks @quickshiftpov much appreciated!! There are loads of well signposted, and well kept lanes over there! Ideal for TT fortnight too as many of them link viewing spots together nicely I believe. I’ll be over there for TT week also, but my mrs frowns upon us green laning with her on the back of the big bike 😂….did try it last year but she didn’t approve!

@@EnduroTrailsWales yeah looking forward to it, got a couple GPX routes for the island but missing a few looking at the trails on KZfaq. Ah well you know a few ratchet straps on the back to hold her on, everything should be good 🤣

I’ve only been riding it for the past 5 ish years, but it’s certainly the worst I’ve seen it. Still very enjoyable, but you need a good run at it to carry momentum over all the steps

Thanks very much! I'm sure there are far better riders than me that can provide better answers.....but my approach is just to try and switch weight as quick as possible and power out of it!.....but it doesn't always work that's for sure!

Hi @lrdavies1, thanks for the comment. It's a tricky question to answer really. Depends on your previous riding experience to be honest. I would recommend a modern 2 stroke to anyone as they are so user friendly, but a 4 stroke 250 may be a bit easier to tame/handle for an absolute beginner as it wouldn't have the same 'snappy' power delivery.
