The top bar is going to smash your shock when the right side flexes up.

Sorry but the round side is made for the bushing to sit in and the flat is for the bolt. And the shock always goes on the top so you wont feel vibration for the tire through the steering wheel. You might want to take this vid down and start over so others do not install this wrong.

4:50 Honda? My Acura s a honda product, honda parts, and when I installed my TPMS, it was automatic. I did not program anything in the ECM. If you change a wheel sensor, it should go through its own cycle and re-establish communications by itself.

Good video question I have a 1999 wrangler sahara, on the drag link(original in your video) it has a slight curve or bend then connects to the pitman. I have the same setup, my question is if a straight link also fit? most stores only offer a straight setup.

OBD2 connection. The TS501 does not have the ability to connect via OBD2 to write sensor ID's the TS508 does: Correction: The TS501 does have OBD connection. The TS508 is the newer version

Is this a common ground scope where only one channel needs to be grounded or is it a floating ground scope where all the channels in use need to be grounded?

This scope has evolved a lot since this recording. The MP408 can do CAN and serial decoding, also FlexRay and spectrum analyzer

Autel is having a lot of server issues. That is usually the case on this type of error. I usually try again in a few hrs and it works.

@@FlashPerformance Thanks for the reply, but unfortunately I've been dealing with this issue for 3 weeks. It started when I recieved 3 updates. I'm currently up to 22 updates with no way to download them. One of the updates I received was for Puegot , I found a forum the said when getting this error message to delete all the files for Puegot and try again. Needless to say that didn't work.

So basically there are 4 frequenties where tpms operate with over the world, how many frequenties is autel working with ? because to my knowledge snap on is or was the only one using all 4 frequenties.....

deal with this company you will be sorry try to return a tpms tool shipped from US you have to contact credit card company you used to get them to respond then they will accept return but you have to send it to China

Ok so I installed this product and went for an alignment but then mechanic at the alignment shop said that the flat side should be down. He also said that he could not align the upper bar due to that. Is there something I’m missing here?

When you have a scan tool in the market, you upgrade it rather than downgrade it. Autel just did that with the MaxiCheck Pro by removing the TPMS capability. Why?

I wouldn't see why not. This set up is not any bigger then the factory set up. I would still recommend calling Rusty's to ask. They will know much better then I will.

I installed Schrader valves in my winter wheels. 2012 Toyota Prius-V. Will this be able to discover them? OEM sensors in the summer wheels.

Depends on the Schrader sensors you got. The EZ sensors are blank and must be programed with their specific tool. If the sensors have already been programmed, then yes, the Autel tools will pick them up and do the relearn no problem

@@FlashPerformance Thanks! I called up Schrader, mine are programmed. Ended up getting the Autel TS508. Autel said it can talk to the vehicle computer as well. Will give it a try in the next week or so.

This Toyota is an OBD2 relearn. It would require a TS501, TS601, TS508, TS608 to do this relearn. Yes, the Autel tools can relearn this vehicle

Couple things you can try: First, Reboot the tool. Second: Close out all the windows and go to the android screen, drag the MaxiSys App to the top, it will say APP Info> Force Stop. Third: Make sure you have enough memory. You may need to delete some of the large apps like BMW, Benz and VW and insert an SD card to expand your storage. If those don't work I recommend calling Autel Support and maybe they can help

I have a Maxisys MS906TS and it currently needs the OS Update installed (3.47.00). It connects to the server just fine, downloads the OS files, but hangs up on Installing. It stays at 0% indefinitely. Any ideas?

I would not recommend this setup. Hits my trackbar bolt. Adjusting the steering stop restricts the right hand turn radius so much I had to just let it hit. Should come with offset tie rod ends.

I wouldn't take one of these bogus POS to a dog fight. I've tried everything and they simply don't work on my 2004 Suburban. I'm sending back my Autel 408 and the POS Autel MX tps's and I'll never spend another effing nickel on Autel.

The TS401 allows you to clone OEM to Autel TPMS sensors so you don't need to mess withe the PCM using the 501 or 601. Just another option since I own the 401.

Can it adjust the psi point that triggers an alarm? I run lower pressure than the factory thinks is safe so the alarm is always bugging me.

The Schrader EZ sensors are blank, and the Autel tool can not program them. However once they are programmed the Autel can learn them. If you have an Autel tool I would recommend the Autel MX sensors, most of the parts stores and tire distributors now sell them. They are also at a great price point.

@@FlashPerformance1 I have Schrader sensors on four tires on a '11 Ram 1500. Can I install new Autel sensors and Schrader sensors on my truck? One sensor just went dead. Or, can I install and program a new Schrader sensor with the Autel TS501 tool? I have the equipment to break the bead on a tire to remove and replace the sensors. My Ram 1500 supposedly auto-learns the sensors, but in the past, that has not gone well.

So what happens with the adjustable part on the drag link? The adjuster part to straighten your steering wheel? How do you adjust your steering wheel after the swap?

1st you disconnect the rod that connects to the steering wheel. Set the toe 1st with the drag link bar. Once the toe is set re connect the steering linkage, adjust just level your wheel

Yes, you would want to choose a TS501 or better. TS501, TS601, TS508, TS608. You will need to be able to connect via OBD to the vehicle. Any of these units would work perfect for you.

Chad, I've been trying to adjust the touch screen on my Autel MaxiScope to increase the visual on the waveform like you were able to at the 1:11 mark. So far I've been unsuccessful. They only thing I was able to accomplish was to move the waveform as a whole vertically up and down the scale, but not actually able to fine tune the voltage to allow a larger waveform visual. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks

Yes, I have trouble with this sometimes also. Make sure you are selecting the waveform on the left first. You will notice when you touch the area where the Mv are labeled it will change color that means you have selected that waveform to manipulate. Then you should be able to spread the waveform to make it larger.

Did your kit come with the bolt and sleeve that connects the steering stabilizer to the bracket on the drag link? I just ordered a steering stabilizer and it didn’t come with the sleeve and the bolt to fit with the bracket so idk where to get it other than getting lucky at a hardware store
