TIP: be careful if the tank is full of winter washer fluid. It contains methyl alcohol which is nasty stuff (a droplet in the eyes can blind you)

those are feeder forks the tucker fingers are on the knotters. when you remove a link from that chain you will have to make sure its in time when you put it back on, to do that rotate the plunger pitmen arm that comes off the gear box to top dead center there should be two notches in the frame to mark that location but if there isnt any notches just put it top dead center then on your knotter clutch drum there will be dimples made by a prick punch on both the inner and outer potion of the clutch drums put these marks in line with each other, and the pitmen arm top dead center reinstall the chain and tighten, now your knotters will be in time with your plunger. I hope this makes sense

I don't even see where my yellow line goes into the tank. It was hanging out. It was bought in 2015. But it's a Husq 150 BT so it has to be the same. I only saw a 2016- manual. After taking off that tab there was the port. Stuck it in and it cranked up. Thanks!

Has your steering gotten stiff over time? I bought a used one with 120h on it and there is no way I could steer with one hand. Two hands with more effort than I’ve ever put into turning any mower. I jacked it up to troubleshoot and you can turn it with one finger with no weight on the wheels.

Fill conduit with sand. Take the filled/duck taped sections to the woods or a playground, find a nice tree or pipe (telephone pole?) and bend around it for nice smooth bends. Sometimes two trees close together can be helpful.

so my question is this, I know it says 100hr or 1000 miles, but which one should you pay more attention too? because when the key is turned on, even if the machine isn't running your timer is running in the sxs isn't so would it be safe to say that its more important about the miles than it is the hours? For me I just use mine to do little stuff around the yards, cruise the back roads or drive on my town streets. I am tired of taking it to the dealer and paying $250.00 each time, not including gas in the truck and my time when I could do this myself. I just didn't know if I should pay more attention to the miles or hours? and yes I do check the fluids
@bucksgarage1
@bucksgarage1 13 күн бұрын
@Joshuabaugher-jt2sp honestly I feel like it's what you are comfortable with. I change mine once a year typically. Sometimes it's over on the miles. I'm easy on my machine like you though.

You ran it dry? Meaning you disconnected the fuel line then let the gas run out? I've done that and now I'm having issues. It'll start initially but after running a bit then turning it off it won't start back up. The spark plugs get so dirty (oily) real quick.

There's a step on the shaft. You measured it in the wrong area. When measured in the area where the impeller sits it measured .453" which is a closer match what most amazon sellers list at 11.65mm = .458" if anyone is wondering it's part # 47-89981
