Man cool to see you back at it! I just bought almost the exact same set up. I have the Ray Barbee lion deck (mine is dark green on the bottom and blue stain on top). I have black Indy trucks 159, the same powell dragon formula wheels and Bronson bearings. I'm 50 now, but got sponsored by H-Street back when i was 14. Sucked when all of the big skate companies fell apart in the late 80's. Happy to see throwback boards and wheels these days. Keep at it when you can ✌️

Nice bike. Love the colour, better than the Aussie Post Red. Although I would still take a red one. Great little bike, not a scooter. Ride a Honda NBC 110, prior CT110 for work. Always considered getting one for fun & adventure touring. Enjoy…they are fun plus head turners.👍

I put a green one on mine and it looks great. I also took a small pucnh and popped out the pins of the side latches and removed them. It just works easier for me to not have to undo four latches everytime I open it. the two on the back seem sufficient.

You will have lots of fun on the Honda. Love mine. My son just sold his R3. That bike is the complete opposite of the CT, you have to run it at high RPMs, that's where its power lives. Be safe and Happy Trails!

The windshield shows that this is not a Super Beetle.

It's a 71 super. All 71 and 72 super beetles have the same windshield and dash as the standard beetle. These are referred to as the 1302. You are thinking of the 1303's (1973-1979 super beetle).

Super Beetles have strut front suspension. THAT is their defining feature. The '71-'72 models had the same red "tombstone" taillights that standard (front axle beam) Beetles had. Beginning with the 1973 model year, all Beetles, Super or standard, had the large, round, tri-color "elephant" taillights.

Hi there! Do you still have this deck? Im curious as to how wide it is at its widest point at the front vs the narrowest point. Im thinking of trying a fish-shaped board but I dont know if I want to switch my trucks from 139 to 159s, thanks!

I love it! long story short I recently got ownership of the very Honda trail 70 I learned to ride on in 1976. I remember the dings and scratches I put in it when I see them. Long ago.
