I'm trying to find a rear fender like that for my 82 gl500 I NEED to know
@Baldys_projects12 күн бұрын
Fender was from my buddies 1980s model goldwing off the front, I cut about 6 inches off of it and mounted it to the back of that silverwing.

I have a 60volt EV Runner with 5 batteries and room for 1 more. Do I need to change the controller to add one more or will the same controller handle 72volts? I can't identify the controller as it's in Chinese
@Baldys_projects Жыл бұрын
Pull the controller apart and see if it has high enough voltage capacitors, whatever the batteries are at their Max charge voltage the capacitors have to be at least that amount or higher or they will pop.
@glennmorgan4197 Жыл бұрын
@@Baldys_projects How does an amateur like me identify what capacitors are high enough? I'm 60 and I don't remember much from my freshman electronics class
@Baldys_projects Жыл бұрын
Look at the largest capacitors on the circuit board there is usually two or three that's much bigger than the rest in size and they will have the voltage marked on them, they usually are either 63v or higher with a 48v controller and 80v or 100v with a 60v and higher controller but I have seen 100v caps in a 48v controller as well so you'll have to pull it apart and check just make sure they're 100v or higher and you will be fine. If they are not you high enough you can upgrade them with 100v caps. Before you pull it apart try to drain the power out of the capacitors by unhooking the battery power to the controller and leaving the power switch/key on so the capacitors will be empty and not short out on you.
