Fun fact, Kerry King (guitarist without hair), did the guitar riff for Beastie Boys "Fight For Your Right To Party" and "No Sleep Till Brooklyn" and can be seen in the video. That was way back when he had hair. He was also the lead guitarist for Megadeth when they first started playing but quit after 4 shows. They're from San Fran and known as the Godfathers of the thrash metal scene. I would recommend you start out with Decade of Aggression which has songs from their first 4 albums (I believe?)taken from live performances. Although Chemical Warfare is a good song, there remains one that stands the test of time and that song is "Reign in Blood". Probably one of the absolute best metal songs ever made

they have been around for a while. this was some of there earliest. they are the best thrash metal out there. Megadeth is really good too.

He's up there with my 15 greatest guitarists, listen to Flight of the Bumble bee. I don't know if he's up there w/ Roy Clark, Eddie, Jimmie and David but Nuno has a gift. There are so many greats and more are coming forward. With today's society we will soon have AI solos that will take the human out of it, so sad.

You need to go way back to where it all began. A good place to start is with "The Midnight Special" gig where they play Deuce, She and Black Diamond. Start from the early 70's and work your way through.

Always Always react to Chris Stapleton LIVE!!! You can usually find a live recording somewhere..he does this song live at the Jimmy Fallon show, with Jimmy!! But Chris is the lead guitarist and his wife sings harmony! A really good one is "COLD" LIVE AT CMA AWARDS (although his wife isn't singing in that one) "ARKANSAS" LIVE AT CMT AWARDS is great!!! Chris might wear a cowboy hat, BUT HE SINGS IT ALL!!!! btw, new sub cuz of Chris Stapleton ❤

Thank you for this one. One more Chris song added to my list. Your comments are spot on! Other songs to listen to (best live) : Either Away - Cold - Higher - Sometimes I Cry - I Was Wrong - It's a Man's World (cover) - Death Row - North Dakota but there so many more past and present songs you'll be amazed. Note that he is not only country, but blues, rock, soul ... he covers all and amazes!

King Edward; Master technician, tone, compositions, influence, stage presence, ear, innovator, guitar scientist....Love, Jimmy, Jimi, SRV, Howe, Lifeson; etc. but.....hail to the King! Sweet guitar! I'm looking for the EVH Wolfgang in white w/black stripes like the one Eddie plays during the Japanese tour in 2013 (Tokyo Dome).
@correctlyrics13 күн бұрын
Mario, do you know the band Extreme? And their super-mega guitarist Nuno Bettencourt? Nuno is like EVH junior. Not in a bad way...in a very good way. If not, you're missing out. The reason I ask is because while you've been absent, they released new songs. One of them has a section in the solo that blew everyone away. I would not start with that song. You familiarize yourself with them first. How about one song off their first 2 albums? 1st - "Play With Me" 2nd - "Get the Funk Out" New - "Rise"

Van Halen played so well together and this video just goes to show how good they were at such a young age, the isolated Van Halen guitar tracks are also incredible, you can really hear all the details that might be hidden in the full mix. Also it's great to have you uploading again man, looking forward to the new videos from you.
