Interesting how u do flat bottoms. I cannot do them 14 years glassblowing and they are still a miracle to me. Can't wrap my head around it. So sad but good job 👏

Wow. Great videos by a master. Cool to see how the stuff I use is made. No wonder its so expensive. Could sure use one of those bump traps.

Is that masking tape to hold the joint in the holder? Good idea as those things like to slip sometimes on the firecut.

Oh man, that’s some good work. I’ve always been interested in fabricating glass parts like this, but the overhead in tooling is a killer. You are a professional. No wonder these things are so bloody expensive. Los Alamos National Labs has a 3D glass printing program for making beakers and flasks just because they are so costly to make. My only gripe is that you didn’t show how it works. Thanks

if you paid $400 for that slide you got ripped off. Those slides cost about $30-40. You can build one yourself for less than $20 if you buy a piece of threaded rod ($3-4), a 4 foot section of 2x1in aluminum ($<15) and some skateboard bearings ($2-3).

Hey, Kevin!! Who is that masked man!! LOL! Nice work, buddy! I've gone to not using that marking pen when making stuff. Instead, I use a rod with a point to scratch the glass. The mark is visible and goes away when heated. Works well for me.

One of the things most often learned the hard way is that, unless it's actually glowing, hot glass looks exactly like cool glass -- so be careful where you grab it. Nice work -- you make it look easy.
