I remember sandalwood top note being a sharp scent. Almost over powering. So a creamy sandalwood tones it down to become smooth.

I've never been an avid reader, I only ever read books that were assigned to me in school when I was younger, but there were at least a few books that I read just for fun, mostly works by C.S Lewis. Thanks for sharing.
