You're welcome! We fish 7pm to 2am. We had no fish till 1:36am, then we finished 4th with 8.31. We caught a 3.52 and 2mins later 3.01, then a 1.78. The sucky part we were 1 spot out of the money, lol. 4th out of 33 boats in 24mins isn't bad. Ned rig about 25ft deep drop. Berkley power bait ned worm.

@damonhoffman41837 күн бұрын
Those were nice fish. We're in a slump, right now. We can't get but 2 keepers in the boat. We need that good kicker that's hard to get. That spot was what we needed last night. It would've put us in 2nd spot. Hopefully, you'll get that last big fish for the month and some cash. Tight lines, Landon!
@landonmoore766 күн бұрын
Thanks the bite is getting slower but few big bass still biting. I ended second place in this monthly. 4 second place finishes this year in the monthly tournaments, maybe I'll win one eventually 🤣

Yeah, man, it just takes time. I hope we can get back on track myself. Just keep plugging away. You won't get any better unless you keep practicing, lol. I wish I could practice more myself. I'm going tonight, my trucks in the shop. So, there is no hauling trash this week. Can't wait for another video, man. I've picked up a lot watching your videos. I do appreciate you taking the time to respond back to everyone also.

Love the channel buddy I’m from N Al I fish Tennessee river lakes lot pickwick and mostly Wilson lake . I apologize if I’ve ask you this before , but tell me Y you prefer the whopper plopper looks to be 105 or 120 size over the Berkeley chop-O I personally like the chop -O , but you might could tell me different about it I know confidence is about 98% of what we love in fishing so if it’s that simple I understand buddy . Love the content man even though your in a different region than me
@landonmoore769 күн бұрын
I really like the choppo but I break them on the rocks. The whopper plopper can hit the rocks all the time and hold up. I fish right up on the bank so I hit riprap alot and choppo prop breaks
@andyfisher121711 күн бұрын
I already commented on this vid , but the ? I have is Y you seem to prefer the whopper plopper In place of the chop-0 that Berkeley makes just curios on that the 105 size is my favorite in the chop o is there something I’m missing with the W plopper?
@landonmoore7611 күн бұрын
I do like the choppo but I'm always throwing right on the rocks and paralleling the rip rap. I break the choppo tail everytime I make a bad cast. The whopper plopper can hit the rocks 100 times and not break. Its the only reason I throw it

Just keep on getting it, man! I caught me a 6lb during the Bill Dance open. Lost a hugh dinosaur. I've been losing fish like crazy, so I get where you're coming from. I broke a pole, and the fish came off at the boat. My fishing has been really bad the last couple weeks. The video was great. I need to try those roit batans out. I see you do really good with them. I'll keep you updated on my end. Just keep those lines tight. I just now learned how to fish a spinning rod the correct way, lol. I just needed to keep the rod tip higher in the air. Keep making those videos!!!
@landonmoore7617 күн бұрын

With so many tournaments on Norman need to find a way not to kill all those fish by keeping them in the live well... Maybe pictures with certified scales idk... People cheat and I'm sure that's why!! Nice fish Norman has not been good to me the last few weeks

On that shakey head and using that thicker worm, maybe try skin hooking it on the side. It should have less plastic to go through or impede the hook. I’ve heard some pros mention that.

Hey buddy really enjoy your videos. I have been a sub and watching for a good while couple years if not longer I’m in north Al so I don’t watch for info or anything, but it seems the quality of the fish in Norman have increased since the days you fished from your big boat is the different bait in the lake blueback herring or something or just a upswing in the lake you think
@landonmoore76Ай бұрын
Thanks and yeah I know you've been watching awhile I appreciate it. I really think the state making it no limit on spotted bass and encouraging everyone to keep them all has helped. Less mouths to feed the bigger spotted bass can get. The guide boats here keep alot of spots everyday
