In 1987, I had a girlfriend who meant the world to me. Fresh Aire VI and this song, Nepenthe, were very special to us for a variety of reasons. We eventually broke up but have remained close friends all these years. I got a text from her out of the blue today. It was a simple photo of the restaurant sign she was dining at - the same one near Big Sur that was your inspiration for the song. It's beautiful to know that it means something to her after all this time.

Chip, I remember meeting you in person as a young kid at an event in SLC and getting a signed poster and Fresh Aire album. I still have them! Thank you for providing decades of amazing music!

I have been listening to your songs for at least 30 years. The first time I heard Fresh Aire, was when my ex-husband was at the Roberts Electronics store), while he was looking for speakers (big, tall ones), I was trying to find out about the music that was playing in the store! Finally someone told me, and I bought the first 3 Fresh Aire CDs and continued on buying all of them over time. I also love the Saturday Night and Sunday Morning Coffee, I love your Christmas songs too, I play your version of Silent Night, over and over! I have enjoyed listening to your all of your music since that day in the Roberts Electronic store, in th1984. I cannot wait to get the Ambience music!

I love all of the Mannheim Steamroller albums, especially the Ambience series! I hope that more come in the future!

Out of all the Fresh Aire Series, Fresh Aire 3 is my favorite.

We saw MS during Christmastime (2023) and they played this song by Elyse on the big screen and I love it.

this song as been my favorite song since I can remember . One Christmas my parents couldn’t afford Christmas presents. I got a music box and when I opened it it played this song. but someone got into my things and broke the music box. I was so brokenhearted friend of mine bought me a little music box that had that same song on it. then I ran into this video. This girl has got a beautiful voice and the music in the background is beautiful. I love this song so much green sleeves.

Back in the 90's, someone brought a Mannheim Christmas tape to our squadron Christmas party at Offutt AFB and played it on the building's sound system. Everyone froze when they heard that music and asked what it was. We had never heard anything like that before. I then started noticing the billboards around Omaha. After I got married, I introduced my wife to it and we bought all of the Christmas CD's as well as others. My model railroad is going to have a building that says "Mannheim's Steamrollers" on it. I found an HO steamroller kit.
