It’s ok, but Alan Cumming set the gold standard. His eyes alone elevated the production.

I LOVE how different every Emcee is, it's so intriquing, there really is no wrong or right way to play him, he's just the Emcee, and he's your host

She always had that phenomenal charisma. What a star.

Amazing- he created the role and thankfully reprised it in the movie. Would have been amazing to see him in the original Broadway production!

Ive watched Eddy and Alan over and over the last few days. And they're effective and creepy. But this....this is the Emcee. Classy and creepy and depraved in equal parts. Masterful.

I think the Emcee is still very dark and creepy in his version. The rest of the production is weirdly silly and misses the point, but he's perfect, just as perfect as Cumming though with his own style.

Did you actually see the original Broadway production, of which this is a fragment re-staged for the Tonys, stripped of its scenery? I did. And that production, with its wonderful designs by Boris Aronson and the presence of the great Lotte Lenya in the cast, had an authenticity that no other stage production has been able to match.

Amazing that they’d put something like this together for a TV show! Wouldn’t/couldn't happen today. Reminds me what crap we’re willing to watch nowadays.

Que increíble registro, gracias por compartir. Y el resto del concierto?. Anteriormente había escuchado a Luz Eliana cantando "That Old Black Magic" acompañada solo por Alejandro Espinoza. Se nota que el Jazz era su lenguaje favorito. Que lastima que no se haya tenido mas fama internacional.
