Walfredo Reyes Jr.'s drum 🥁 solo was outstanding. He is so tight and knows rhythmic structures so well. Incredible. He also has double duty: playing the timbale parts (!) There's a live album, and on one song, you hear Carlos say, "Pump it up, Walfredo!" 🕉

It's a sin that Searchin' wasn't a big radio hit,. Columbia Records really did nothing to help Santana from the mid 70's onwards, poor promotion, lack of interest in the band, they just released albums and that was it.
