How did you get LED license plate lights without triggering the “light malfunction sensor” in your car? I’ve tried many different routes to get led license plate lights but I get a light malfunction warning everytime. The warning goes away after putting the oem bulbs back in.

Hey I have the same model a4 and sometimes it doesn't start. Like I go to start and it goes to ac mode or starts then shuts off right after. And if I finally get it to start it is in drive3 already. Please let me know if you know the reason or how to fix

Thinking of picking up a tuned/bagged 2010 a4 avant Quattro premium wagon. Thoughts ? 107k miles, timing chain/tensioner/guides replaced/ , clean title. Just want to know any other big issues I should be aware of and what you think

Spark plugs, coil packs, check the oil most of them don’t have dip sticks to see how the oil looks unfortunately. For the most part pretty good cars. With the tune, I’d check to see if turbo has been replaced or rebuilt typically every 75-80k miles

Solid car, make sure the recall was completed for the faulty piston rings. Read about it. Had one before this, burning 1L of oil per 500 miles

245 40 18 tires, I don’t remember the wheel spec but I think 8.0 wide. I have 10 mm spacers rear only

At the end of the day, its still an a4 with a gutless 2.0l 4 cylinder. I daily drive a modded a4 allroad. Its still slow as fuck with close to 300whp

Did you change the shocks and struts when putting the springs on or add the deadset lowering kit from ecs? I keep getting told I shouldn't do just springs

I would personally recommend coil overs, if money is tight and you have some basic mechanical knowledge you can do this job under $400, however, coilovers on the other hand start around $600 and if you have adaptive suspension you will need to buy a module to cancel out the code which is another $500.
