Great results! I think I would try a complimentary color for the powder coat. With the black it looks too similar to the plain to really see the difference. An idea I have used successfully is to create a shallow box and put a layer of sand in to nestle the rocks.I haven’t tried powder coat, but it helps me keep the surface level. Waiting for my Ultra to ship, can’t wait for it to arrive!!

Other than the really bad sound quality on this and how low it goes and then really high and then back down to really low. Engravings look fine. But dude, you got to work on your sound

Buds 2 Pro doesn’t sound like what's shown here at all. I've bought both of them for testing. B2P are much better in terms of sound quality and features(ANC, WN, mic). A40 only wins in battery and comfort to wear to sleep.

What powder coat did you use?

They all sound like ass compared to a modmic.

Just bought it this weekend. Feels grippy in the hand, supremely confident holding it, pocketing it. Finger prints do show on the rear. It keeps the slim feels and look. I would love to see case review show the weight of the case, the phone, then case on the phone. You'll then get an idea of weight, perhaps find something in your home that weights the same so you can get a feel. It is a little heavy.

do you think I could engrave text into rocks with it? feldspar, petrified wood, quartzite and such, 0.2mm depth

I have that printer and it is far from quiet in stock condition. I modified the fans an now it is much better.
