It’s a great thing that it teaches us. But for Danial it must have been hard. Like many of us today that can’t understand why God seems to ignore our prayers. But from God’s point of view he answers Danial’s prayer immediately. It shows us that there is a war going on for our soul and Danial knows God is faithful and will answer if he doesn’t lose faith and give up. Our answers to prayer may take years to show up. But we should learn from that story to be faithful in our prayer (don’t give up) and trust in God to answer. Spiritual war fair is happening and we should understand that. Danial didn’t go pray for something then walk away in frustration. But he understood what we need to learn, God is faithful and answers prayers. Maybe not in our way or time but in his perfect way and time. I’m blessed to be able to say I have had prayer answered in just the right moment.
