Angie, the card holder is so cute. The tissue paper really does give the tree topper a more realistic finish. But my favorite is the caster. What a great idea. I use old rusty garden implements in my exterior decor and I’ve found that Penetrol by Flood seals in rust pretty well. Although the bleed through on your piece added to the charm.

Thank you Katherine! I'll have to get some Penetrol to have on hand. I'm hoping my caster isn’t too rusty when I get it out of storage but if it is, I'll just quickly do it again. I've used Floetrol for my paint sprayer to thin the paint but never thought about the Penetrol. Thanks for the suggestion.😊

Such a great use for those tin lids for the carousel! Frosty is adorable. And that hot air balloon with Santa was my favorite!! Very clever use of materials and beautiful outcomes. Great job, I look forward to seeing more from you!

Hi Angie!! A couple of questions, SWEET FRIEND, if you dont mind?? First, on your wooden frames, did you paint the 2 coats on it while the clay was still "Semi-Wet", OR was it dry, AND my 2nd question is, What is the name of the "Paint AND Color" you used?? You didnt "name" them in your video, or in your discription box below 👇👇🤷‍♀️....OOOPS,??? HAHAHA😂😂😂❤❤❤ THANK YOU!!!!!

I usually paint my clay after it forms a crust, but for this project it was fully dried. The paint color I used is actually a mixture of DIY Cottage colors in the color crockery mixed with regular white chalk paint. It's about a 50/50 mix ratio. I wanted to lighten up the beige color a bit.

Yes it is a Rae Dunn and in my area there is an over abundance of it including the thrift stores. I can go to the local TJ Maxx and Homegoods here and there are shelves full of it so that’s why I didn’t mind giving it a makeover.
