As a "survival" firearm if you are out and find a box of shot shells you will need to carry the choke tube so that you could actually use the shot shells.

I haven’t seen any good groups with this rifle in 308. You did the best I’ve seen for sure. In todays market to impress me enough to buy a rifle it should shoot under moa with factory ammo of some sort.

I have three bearcreek uppers and only had a small issue with one and that was screws came lose in the gas key so took it off cleaned the surfaces and installed the screws with lock tight and restaked them and good to go ran many mags after that and no issue's i built the lowers from Anderson stripped lowers with good parts and they run fine with no problems at all love them.

I like the fact that you used a whole box for testing, I feel it gives a true representation of the accuracy potential of the combination. I think that a different load would give better accuracy, though. As the shots struck the paper I noticed that there are 2 distinct areas where the holes appeared. That suggests to me that the projectile is leaving the barrel at two different swings in the restorations. That's why I think a different load could improve the accuracy. The scope covers could, also, be causing the changes in the resonance of the system.

I use one with a 20" barrel for Cowboy Action Shooting. I replaced the plastic follower with a brass aftermarket one as well as replacing the factory ejector spring with a lighter one. The lighter spring makes it function a lot easier and smoother. I also use .357 brass loaded to .38 special specs and I have not had any feeding or ejection issues. Happy Shooting!

Like many others in your comments section, did the same thing to my 23. Been range tested enough times to see if I would encounter any failures and NONE! Next, will be my G20 and get a G22 40SW barrel.

I just purchased a complete BCA upper in 243 with a 22" barrel and a 1:8 twist. I loaded some 75 grain speer hollow points and some H4350. I was consistently shooting 1/2" to 3/4" groups at a 100 yards. I am Very pleased with this one. I did notice some under gassed signs. But I figured it was because I used the lowest powder charge in the book to just get it on paper. will have to take it out with some heavier loads and see what happens. but this upper is new and seen its first 22 rounds today.

I love the G3 TORO and 100% agree on the manual safety. That said, the GX4 Carry TORO for $308 all in shipped to my FFL was too hard to pass up. I just mounted the 507K on mine last night. I can't wait to get it out to our range and see how it does. It's a very comfortable pistol, like the TX-22 in the hand. It's also slightly lightr and smaller than the G3 TORO. I love the G3 TORO so much I bought a total of 3 of them over a few years. One for carry, one for a back up carry in case the main one goes down, and one for beating the heck out of at the range to see how much it will take. SO far, it's as good, durable, and reliable as any pistol I've ever owned. I hope the GX4 Carry perform as well.

I have the same scope, the glass is not bad but it kind of looses focus when below 20x, that now have the gen2, but some are having issues getting one they keep changing the delivery date. Still I am ok for the money:to what you get!

I just got a bca in 556 and a bca in 300bo with a lower im not sure of the name. I picked up the entire set wit two boxes of 300bo. For $450. For both uppers and the lower with ammo and 4 mags. I normally would not have even considered a bca but i bought this from a friend and i have actually shot it a few times . I know its accurate and it works .

For a first center fire auto pistol I am having trouble deciding between this one and trying to find a S&W 4516. The Smith is obviously the better pistol but no longer supported. That said the Smith is very unlikely to ever need parts other than springs or mags.

I was carrying an sig p365x, but picked this up and put a 43x mos slide on it. Liked it so much that I got a couple more. Put a micro dagger slide on one and it actually outshoots the glock slide. My oldest son also bought one because he liked mine so much. He put an aim slide and barrel in his, and loves it!

If you shoot field positions and want to stretch it out try an Appleseed 200 yard Rimfire Known Distance (22LR only.) standing at 50, transition to seated at 100, transition to prone at 150 and slow fire prone at 200. You will have 24+ MOA of drop at 200.

The TS100 are the BETTER Tech Sites. The elevation adjustment of the 200 is a total PITA. The takedown hold zero as long as the takedown nut is tight. When it gets loose the group can open up to 6 inches at 25 yards. I tighten it until the rifle won’t close and loosen it a click at a time until it locks together.

I have this gun and really want to love it. But for some reason the trigger is constantly getting stuck and the cylinder won’t always lock into place when shooting 357

I put this on my 300 win mag, I have shot several boxes of ammo with it on and have had no issues. I have a leuapold 3x9x40. On my 270 wsm and comparing them at the range it’s everybit as clear, and bright as the leuapold.
