i used to loooove monthly favorites but as an adult it’s mind boggling to think of having to come up with new stuff every month and kind of a lot pressure- it’s easy to just settle down and stick to your routines and favorite products. never mind that monthly favorites can pressure someone into consumerism. i think it’s better just to do updates on recent favorites every couple months

Genuine question; how is wetting the hair and using more product on top of existing product better than washing it, if you get wet anyway? I never understood this part

Curly hair is normally pretty dry and you’re only supposed to wash it maybe once a week because the shampoo dries it out more. She could have a different reason but as someone with curly hair, I only use products that are for curly hair. They’re not super heavy on the hair and you don’t use a lot. The products that she used probably help hold in the water to rehydrate the curl.

Would love to see more gluten free meal ideas from you! I'm in the middle of the low-fodmap diet and I've discovered that gluten (and onions and garlic, devastating) is definitely a no-no for me 🥲 but I loooooove cooking and find your what I eat in a weeks super helpful!
