One Ohtani card I love is the Bowman Chrome Sterling with the image of pitching and hitting on the same card. Love that design!

I don't think Judge is going to keep being a big "injury risk". He is obviously a ripped athlete in awesome shape, and I think he is taking a more injury-adverse approach to his game (fielding), and won't keep having some of the bad luck (toe, etc). He's built to keep this peak up for a while! Now, I really want to see who signs Soto! That will be a big deal.

A little confused as to why Soto going to a 4th team hurts his cards. I get why it might hurt his Yankees cards. But should it really impact his rookie cards in WSH? Thanks.

Honestly, I dont think Chourio really has a big dip. He dipped already when he was slumping. I think going into the offseason his hype will rise even more if 1) they make a deep playoff push and 2) people consider his 30/30 possibilities in 2025 with a yr of experience under his belt.

I find when I abstain from card shows ~ I am significantly happier collecting quietly behind my laptop.... Aside from the National perhaps, going to shows is just a downer....all the inventory spread out all over the place like its junk.... diminishes the value to me... and I could go on for days with show issues...I 'll spare you .

Good stuff guys. Let's be real here...there is ZERO reason to buy ultra high end wax at this point. Zero. Just let it go. It think Scott said it...an era is tainted and you will have to wait if/until this issue is resolved for future wax. I have zero interest in wax, but I feel for all you guys that do. Uber lame. That Uranium comment. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I said it before, put some foil sheets in between each card. A CT scanner won't be able to deal with that 'beam hardening' artifact at that resolution. You sandwich the card with metal like that and no CT scanner will get you a diagnostic image. FWIW...I'm a radiologist, the doc who is reading CTs every day. This is kind of my wheelhouse.

Black heritage refractors are Sweet Cards. I got the Timmy one. Jersey numbered #55/59..

I use my dremel and a cutting wheel to open the new PSA slabs. If you cut off the top and one of the sides they literally pop right open. It just makes a mess because the slab literally melts lol. I’ve taken a break from PSA. I’ve graded thousands of cards over the years so most of my orders are accurate to my estimates. However, recently I’ve noticed that the cards coming back to me from their NY office are being graded 1-2 full grades lower than my estimates. My theory: they’ve hired a bunch of new and inexperienced graders to handle their volume and are telling them to be conservative their they grades.

Always fun to watch these reveals. I know the roller coaster of emotions so I’m able to empathize when the tough grades are given, but also celebrate the pure joy of getting a 10. I love getting orders back from PSA!
