I agree my trap is built just like yours but I need a little help with the door and the trigger design

You are close but the ice is still making it all wet. Use frozen water bottles and put them in gallon ziplog bags. No water!

with those shitty traps you just are able to capture one juvenile and you get the whole sounder to learn avoiding any metal structure in the future, invest in good stuff

Just great, good idea to get the trap on wheels.

Damn! That's insane! Can one expect those kind of results from a Muzzy Trocar? I'm new to bow hunting and purchased some 100 grain Muzzy Trocars.

1/8 inch thick? Yhey will warp it
@just_isaiah13674 жыл бұрын
President Trump 2020 no it won’t-1/8 is the same thickness as 11ga. I built me one and it works just fine-that’s what most hog traps are built out of anyway

Yeah 19 days don't about that long yeah it's tender because it's decayed
@cheefussmith93805 жыл бұрын
that's what aging is - controlled decay. the muscle tissue breaks down = decay.

Thumbs up great video! What IS the longest you can safely age the meat? Should I be concerned about the smell?
@timivers8823 Жыл бұрын
It shouldn't
@briantruckinglanders63756 жыл бұрын
That looks like a demonstration model for catching bear, it's built sturdy enough. When you're not trapping, you can always use it to transport the deer out of the woods that you just shot. haha

Roger would you build one for someone if so how much money you take to build it
@ea67nova7 жыл бұрын
So how long can you age it??
@ThatWeirdDude406 жыл бұрын
Here in Europe, and mostly eastern Europe, where we have a looong tradition of aging wild meat, we let the animal hang outside, in the shadow, at temperatures of 12-26 °C for a few days up to around 1-2 weeks. The animal doesnt get skinned, nor butchered, before letting it age. Depending on how long you let it hang, the more tender it gets, and also, the more the "wild" taste it gets. And don't worry about possible diseases in the meat. The fur will protect it long enough from insect larvae, and anyway, wild meat hast to be cooked thorough. For people whom aren't accostumed to the "wild" taste that much, I would suggest lettig it hang for just about 3 days, and letting following hunts hang more or less, depending on how one likes the taste of the one aged for 3 days.
