You do not have to sight the scope in physically before uploading data to the scope.

Do you guy at Burris have plans to ever try and fit the Eliminator series LRF and reticle into a smaller form factor like an LPVO? A 1-6 or 1-8 that could range out to at least 1000 yards would be dope.

Hi. I am thinking of getting the Eliminator 6. My concern and question; must you hold your finger on the bottom to keep the point of aim, or does the scope hold the point of aim for a few seconds, to allow you to use the left hand to support the back rest of the rifle. Or are you forced to keep the left hand on the scope (button) and only have your right hand to support the rifle and pull the trigger. Especially in a situation where an animal is constantly moving and you only have a split second to shoot between the movements. Thank you.
@BurrisOpticsCompany28 күн бұрын
The scope comes with a wireless Bluetooth remote. You can position it where ever is most comfortable for you to stabilize your shot.
@kasparsmelderis912Ай бұрын
What is the size of the batteries needed? Approximately how long do they last on always on mode? What happens if the batteries die- is the scope still usable with no batteries ?
@BurrisOpticsCompanyАй бұрын
It uses 2 x CR2450 batteries. They will last 10-40 hours dependent on the illumination intensity. You have the option to put the scope into various sleep modes in the app programming. Turning the turret will turn the scope back on immediately. The scope still has a front focal plane reticle that can be used if the batteries die.
@jeffreymiller5336Ай бұрын
Haven’t used mine much yet, but I can say it has a very touchy eye box - in comparison to other higher end scopes I have it was one of the first things I noticed and is pretty annoying, but I suppose you could get used to it somewhat
@BurrisOpticsCompanyАй бұрын
Odd, it has a pretty good eye box. Make sure when mounting the optic you do it with the scope on high power. Not doing so with any scope will cause eye relief issues (or in some cases "critical eye boxes") dependent on the eye relief change in inches from low to high magnification.

Welcome, brother. Thank you for all the efforts you give us. But my question is: Does this scope work on the Russian Kalashnikov assault rifle, and does it also work on the Romanian PSL sniper rifle? Thank you?☺👍⚘

If you have a way to mount it to your rifle, it will absolutely work. There are a few mounting options on the market for both of your rifles.

Why are some scopes made in China?

While there's a shared desire to produce all goods domestically in the USA, various factors such as wages, labor costs, material expenses, and other associated overheads often pose challenges in achieving a competitive price point that aligns with consumer expectations. In a globalized market, products are often manufactured using components and resources sourced from various countries around the world. This interconnected network of suppliers and manufacturers allows for cost efficiency and specialization, ultimately leading to more competitive pricing for consumers. Manufacturing costs can vary significantly from one country to another due to differences in labor costs, raw material availability, regulations, and other factors. Countries with lower production costs can often offer products at a more competitive price point. In a globalized market, businesses from different countries compete with each other to attract customers. This competition helps drive down prices as companies strive to offer the best value for money. The value of currencies relative to each other can also impact pricing. Fluctuations in exchange rates can affect the cost of imported goods, influencing pricing decisions by manufacturers and retailers. Globalized markets allow companies to achieve economies of scale by producing and selling large quantities of goods. This can lead to lower per-unit production costs, enabling companies to offer products at competitive prices. Ultimately, the goal of a globalized market is to provide consumers with access to a wide range of products at competitive prices. By tapping into global supply chains and leveraging cost efficiencies, businesses can offer consumers better value for their money. Hopefully, a lesson in a globalized market helps explain this a little more. May I ask where all the components were manufactured in the computer or phone that you used to send this message.

You have upload a wind value to the scope. You can request current wind values in your area using the Burris Connect app, or use your Kestrel device to manually input this data in the app to upload to the scope.

If you have a problem screwing in the battery cap get a 3/8 inch wooden dowl and cut it about 7 inches long. In one end cut a slot center line of the dowl the width of the saw blade so that the half moon flap on the cap will fit into the slot. This will make screwing in the cap much easier.

@Liam-ly8rvАй бұрын
Looking forward in it coming in MILS. Nearly every shooter from the military to the basic hunter now uses MILS these days. Having an MOA limits those who will purchase it.
@chrisross1657Ай бұрын
At the 2:20 mark of the video you are describing how to set the zero stop. You also mention if the shooter has a 20 MOA cant on their build they may come up against the zero stop. When I spoke to Burris they informed not to use any built in MOA cant. ✌
@BurrisOpticsCompanyАй бұрын
If you have a canted base or are using the Burris Signature rings to add MOA to the rifle you will simple need to switch off the Inclination Compensation in the app for the scope to work properly with the canted mounts. If you want the inclination to work properly we do not recommend using canted mounts.

Lousy and waste of time video. You repeatedly say to “PROPERLY TORQUE” the screws. You left out the most important information - what is the proper TORQUE?
@BurrisOpticsCompany3 ай бұрын
That is completely dependent on the product. All of our torque specs can be found on each website product page for products that require a torque value, in the provided user guide at purchase, or you can see each torque value in our FAQ's. www.burrisoptics.com/support/faqs#question-475 If you are looking for specifics for the rings and bases used in this video, the bases are 30 inch lbs per screw, the rings are 20 inch lbs per screw for the ring tops, and 45 inch lbs for each cross bolts. But... we are not sure what you will be using, so it was not specified in the video. If you are not using Burris rings or bases consult with the manufacturer of the product for proper torque specs. Hope this helps.
