Can you upload the project files for download to make things easier for us?

I don't see the need for it at all. 80% of all videos are no more than 5 minutes long, and I don't do anything supernatural. People who know at least a little bit of basic things can do it in about 10 minutes, those who are already working with hotkeys can do it in the time of the video itself

Some people might say that it's bad that you don't explain exactly why you do each thing. But honestly? I'm happy, bc sometimes I just wanna add a texture in a couple of minutes and don't have brain for learning. 😅
@3dpunk14 күн бұрын
Xd) Thank you! The point is that in each tutorial many things are repeated, you learn on the go and you will understand more and faster with experience. I don't see the point of watching tutorials where it takes an hour to show and explain what "principle BSDF" is. It is better to spend the remaining 55 minutes on personal experience

Amazing tutorial!! However when I try apply the 2nd cloth the cushion separates from the text, and even if I place it back & bake again the text is visible through the cushion? (both bakes worked perfectly)
@3dpunk19 күн бұрын
This problem is solved by adjusting the "collision" parameter and experimenting with the strength of the fabric pull, you can also try adjusting the size of the cushion or text
@3dpunk19 күн бұрын
The video lesson is quite old, so it's hard for me to remember what was there in principle

hello bro great toturial! Texture nodes are black magic for me, do you mind sharing how you get so good at doing this? Is it practice?
@3dpunk23 күн бұрын
There is no definite formula. Sometimes I just experiment and notice that it looks like some material. Sometimes I turn to the Blender community. I see something interesting on Pinterest and try to make something similar. Most of the time it's just a mix of everything at once. But without practice, there's no understanding of how nodes work, so practice is incredibly important

How come mines go outward and not inward like it’s not making g the pillow but reversed so they are moving g away from each other
@3dpunk23 күн бұрын
There may be many reasons for this problem, maybe you did not do the simulation correctly, maybe something is wrong in the size of the objects, maybe the Blender version is no longer suitable (this video is quite old), your objects may conflict because of topology, maybe you mixed up some parameters, maybe in edit mode you deleted something unnecessary. As you can see the reasons can be a lot, do not worry because this is just a simulation, it didn't work now, it will work later

How to make realistic plastic material. Make a tutorial
@3dpunk21 күн бұрын
Realistic plastic, really? Am I correct in assuming it has scuffs and scratches? Just regular plastic can be made just by adjusting "roughness" in "principle BSDF"

How do I bake this into a texture? Everything I've tried doesn't work
@3dpunkАй бұрын
You need to bake each map separately, making sure that the map you are baking is displayed. If you bake base color, you leave only the color or what is attached to the color input, if you bake roughness, you just need to disable everything except roughness
