I've been using Bioderma for a year now as a cleanser morning and night and stopped washing my face as it was stripping my facial barrier. I like the curel but I LOVE the pixi milky mist it's so hydrating and the mist on that is finer and not as intense of a mist as the Curel

Team Bioderma here. I also am team Evian spray with my skin care. I picked up a french supermarket brand water spray when over in May so be interesting to see if there is a difference - highly unlikely. The LRP should repair your skin barrier - you have done what is correct by pairing back what you’re putting on and keeping things simple. It really is a patience thing with skin. Fingers crossed things heal quickly. Controversially I quite like a base product with a dropper. The new bourjois one is lovely and I also have a mac one - they call it foundation but is a light tint (Great colour range and bigger opening so not as messy)

I've just started wearing make-up again after years of not doing so. My boyfriend passed away in May and I decided I need pampering. I've bought just a few items. But I'd like to project pan those before I buy more make-up. I don't wear eye make-up or do my brows. So I'm including two lipsticks and a lip gloss, tinted foundation, concealer and a stick blush which is multi use one. Also one of the lipsticks is pink so would make a nice blush. This feels like fun!

Unless you are feeling very firm about it, I would recommend trying out one pair of the linen shorts and styling them. They looked like a nice fit for you. Other summers are hotter and they don’t take up much space. That sounds like an interesting book read.

Make up is geaorgous and eyshadow oh very pretty, the only thing i would consider to add is eyeliner in the corner of the eye, maybe brown to more delicate effect 😊

I must honestly say that the rose gold eyeshadow suits you so much better in my opinion than what you usually go for. I feel it makes your eye colour pop more. I do get you think your usual eyeshadows suit you better because you are an autumn but I honestly think to make your eyes pop more pinky/rosy colours suit you better. For everything else yes autumn colours but for your eye I prefer the rose gold. Also like the one and done look of this shade in particular. I have stepped back from strictly panning and tracking. I am on a no buy until I have reached certain goals in each category and if I choose to focus on something that’s fine but if I want to use something else that’s fine too.

I have been trying to use up the make up I have this year and only repurchasing when necessary. By doing this, I have found I only use neutral colours and prefer a 4 or 6 pan eyeshadow palette, so going forward I know that the larger more colourful palettes are a waste.

Can you please consider a make up review round up? Especially regarding what you like best out of each category. I am dying to know which is your favourite brown mascara. 😊

Amazing progress!

When I clicked on this video I was struck by how lovely you look in the makeup you have on. So naturally enhanced!

Almost finished my last full coverage foundation and brought the replacement today - a sheer tint. Used up 3 nearly 4 lipsticks and good progress on my pan that palette. My project pan this year is 50% make up 50% beauty products & I suspect next year it will be 25% 75%. Good call on the declutters especially the foundation.

Videos like yours are what keep me going with my goal to buy as little as possible :)

You are always making so much progress. I will try to finish my Maybelline Superstay Skin tint this month. If I don’t finish it it will be decluttered before I move abroad because it is already too light for me at the moment and it will be way too light once I have been in proper sun and not this London weather 🤣 I have extended the pan in my bronzer. I have finished a mascara. And I am seeing progress in all of my lip products. I will use up the Vieve skin nova XL the next couple of weeks. All of my other empties are skincare.

Vicki, are you also working on pairing down finger nail items or are you fine with the size? I see it behind you. With limiting cosmetics I find I’m purchasing more nail and skincare items. 🙈 Fresh’s Rose bi-phase toner could be a new option for Merit if you would like a change. Your base makeup looks really great here.

I think you might use Warm Taupe and Love Letter together to tone it down and use it as a crease or a lower eyelid shade🤔 P.S. Congrats on the progress! Finishing a pan or two every single month, that's really impressive🎉👏

I say try using Realgar as a blush or soften it with a lighter, more neutral brown or cream when applying. Blowing out the color rather than having it be so red on your eyes.

Could you mix the shade that’s in love letter with the shade that’s in warm taupe to neutralise a bit of the orange? Great progress and update
